It's our neighborhood Y. It's friendly, clean, and fun. We get active and have a lot of options for things to do!
I like the staff and the community involvement the Y offers. That is a big plus.
One thing I don't like is that there is no way to find on the website the pool or gym schedule for a given day. This would be an online version of the paper copies posted around the facility. For example, I would like to know when swimming lessons or open swim occur and thereby reduce the number of lap lanes available. The app shows programs and lessons, but not schedules. I find that very frustrating because it should be a relatively easy thing to show online.
Everyone here is very friendly and helpful! From being greeted at the entry to a friendly hello or encouragement while working out, the staff here are awesome! Also, the equipment is modern, well-maintained, and kept clean. I've done a few group classes, but used to really enjoy yoga classes here. It would be awesome to have a steam room and/or sauna, but the hot tub and pool is great as well.

I was impressed by how friendly everyone was.i felt welcomed as soon as I entered your beautiful and clean building. I have only taken water classes so far and I am excited to try all that the Y has to offer
The Wolverine Y is accessible, especially when I have other errands in the area.The pool has limited lanes but there is usually at least one open. Parking is less of a hassle than downtown.
I enjoy walking on the track. It’s a great place to walk no matter what the weather is doing outside. I also enjoy the pool very much. It’s clean and just the right temperature. I can swim around at my own pace. Also the locker room is clean. I haven’t tried any of the exercise classes yet but plan to do so very soon. I sure hope that the membership fee will be free to me through Medicare advantage next year.

Staff and other members are friendly and helpful to this new member. It is becoming like an exercise family.

The pool
I like all the ways I can choose to work out. There is a nice assortment of cardio and strength training equipment to choose from, along with classes, sports ( paddleball, volleyball...) and swimming. I never get bored.
Facility clean, well-lit, equipment works, personnel friendly and helpful
We love the welcoming clean environment. Kids Zone workers are AMAZING!! All the staff is super sweet! Love the different equipment and class choices.
Nice place to workout. Not too crowded. Never feel rushed.

Close to home, easy parking
Downsides—women’s locker room is freezing for those of us who use the Y to swim, or after showers. Please remember that not all of us have been running on the track or doing things that make us super hot. I think there’s a happy medium for the locker room and you haven’t found it yet.
The people
I like the layout. A large variety of equipment in several different places so it's not elbow to elbow. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The building is always clean.
I'm from the Greenville Y & while the pool is down, I have been visiting your Y. The pool is so nice & very big. Water is comfortable where Greenville's has been very cold for months now. The hot tub is very inviting.

We just relocated from across the state, where our YMCA was sub-standard. We've been amazed by the condition of the Wolverine Worldwide facility and equipment, the breadth of group fitness classes that are offered, and the availability and helpfulness of the staff. We're looking forward to using it more!

The Front Desk Staff, Instructors, and all who maintain the Y are so welcoming and caring.
The classes offered and the workout equipment make it easy for people of all levels to stay healthy and fit.
The pool temperature is a bit warm for lap swimming. The guards do a great job keeping the swimmers safe. And all lap swimmers are willing to share a lane.
Everything is clean and bright and welcoming. My kids loved the locker room setup. Staff was friendly and helpful. Outside on the soccer field it’s nice to have stands to sit in to cheer on the teams.
This location has good parking, clean and welcoming to guests, and nice family locker rooms!
