I love the Y, the classes are excellent as are the instructors. My one complaint is that the group ex floor has not been cleaned in a long time. It has multiple marks and spots on it and a piece of gum that has been there since last Oct. A lot of people use that room and sweat on that floor, so it should be regularly washed. Thanks.
The staff is always pleasant and works hard to keep the facilities clean and safe.

Because Priority Health has accepted the YMCA as a place for senior citizens to join , I would love to see more silver sneaker classes! Getting on the floor for gentle yoga and fit for life is very difficult for seniors. Lyn on Friday has brought in chairs which has been very helpful and appreciated!
Everyone is very friendly!! It’s fairly easy to work in on any machine you want to use and super family friendly.

After being completely frustrated with the downtown Y (losing their parking lot, locker room remodel etc.) I started going to the SpartanNash Y. The people/staff there are so much friendlier, the locker rooms are so much cleaner, they always have everything stocked (like the soap dispensers) and it over all is such a better facility. I don't think I will be going back to the downtown Y except for maybe a Saturday here and there. Maybe just close the downtown Y if it is going to be such a terrible disaster? I don't see it getting better even once the remodel is complete!
Easy to get in and out lots of close parking. Weights and machines have been updated.
When I lived in Michigan, I used to be a regular member to this YMCA. When I come home to visit, I always buy a week pass. I love this gym because of the cleanliness, the equipment, the layout, and the size of the gym. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This place is awesome. I love visiting home and coming to the Spartan Nash YMCA.
