We're having a great time with Coach Chris in Monday night soccer!
The coaches seem to really enjoy what they’re doing, they give good encouragement and make it fun for the kids, and they’re teaching age appropriate, sport specific fundamentals.

I usually visit the Visser-Y. I like their set-up better than the Spartan/Nash.
However, I like the overhead water falls in the Hot-tub. The family style pool is nice, too.
The soap dispensers in the showers are better than the Visser Y.
All the Y's have a wide assortment of exercise equipment, and free weights. Generally a great place for a workout. Cost isn't bad if you use all the options.
They have all the machines and times that we need to make our exercise relevant and timely. The staff members are friendly and helpful, the building and equipment well maintained and the locations are pretty good, too!

SpartanNash YMCA is by far the best YMCA location of the greater grand rapids area. This location has the best and most friendly staff, has the best weightroom and overall the best. 10/10
Nice building and not overcrowded
My 8 yr old daughter and I LOVE spartanNash pool area, so much fun! Not as busy as downtown GR and more to do then Visser.
I used Spartan's pool for the time Visser was closed for cleaning. A nice substitute!
I enjoy the pool.
I do wish that showering prior to entering was enforced. I think you could use less chemicals.

I love the pool and the family room lockers. Front desk staff is also very very friendly.
It is clean and the employees are helpful and friendly.

The staff from the front greeting area, to the Kids Zone, Lifeguards, and exercise staff have always been kind, caring and professional. Love the Spartan location and wouldn't go anywhere else. It has everything we need and more!
The track and 2 swimming pools plus a variety of workout equipment and classes.
The pool, the fitness classes , that it’s updTed and clean. Glad group fitness classes are back to one hour. Ways to improve bring back classes to preCOVID time
