very clean.. many classes to choose from various workout machines to also work out on. I love the track . The track you can use it to your own pace if you want a jog or just walk slow. I wish they would get Zumba back during the morning time or even earlier afternoon. It's difficult to go to classes later in the day like five or so I do miss that a lot..
The staff are friendly and the facility is very clean. I have met some new friends also.

Variety of activities
The Northwest Family YMCA is phenomenal in all the programs, staff and facilities. Olivia, Hope and the lifeguards along with instructors are amazing and professional. The programs in Aqua, Active Older Adults and all classes have phenomenal instructors including Dawn and Denise along with the Aqua Dance Party instructor. The EGym is a great addition too. The staff at the desk go out of their way to make sure that you have a great experience as do all the staff. It is great to see “Walk with a Doc” again on the track. The Senior Fair was informational and the Wellness/Cancer educational classes upstairs. Being able to have conversations with coffee in the lobby is appreciated. Special events are always well organized.

One thing I do want to mention is finding a transgender man naked man in the locker room, that is not acceptable. It should be dealt with.
Even though we live in North Syracuse, we go to Baldwinsville because there is the track where we walk. It's always clean and inviting. We enjoy going there. We go in the evenings, and it's never so crowded that it's not enjoyable. The staff is always friendly and helpful.
The people
Its a very welcoming environment with very friendly staff. They have all the equipment that I need.
Great group fitness class. Lots of friendship and community in the Zumba toning class.
