For swimming lessons, the pool is clean, as is the locker rooms. There is a decent amount of swim lessons throughout the week and for the weekend (which is a priority for our family). Keep up the great work!
Very varied, very community focused. Do wish there was a little more choice in classes on specific days (thurs am) or that the min limits could be raised a little in some classes (ie barre) and add more chairs but overall happy. I've been to a couple of other Y's classes recently and they haven't been a patch on the south Wests classes or variety

There are all types of activities for all ages. I can pick whatever is best for me.
The only thing that I wish you could offer is soccer or Basketball or tennis for age 5 in your summer camp!
I just go there to lift weights but it's always a very friendly welcoming vibe

The team/staff at the YMCA is OUTSTANDING! The support, encouragement and supportive environment is amazing. What a wonderful testament to Kim Miller’s leadership. She should be recognized for it. There has never been any judgement. With my many health challenges and setbacks, I have only felt such warmth and support. I tell everyone that it’s the happiest place on earth. It is a great organization !
Wide variety of styles of exercise, many offered at different times of day and days of the week. Optional very small courses. Instructors who are encouraging and even in larger classes observant enough to notice and coach form.

The instructors and staff are phenomenal, I've never encountered a bad/unfriendly employee at this location. We especially love Teresa who worked with both of our kids.

Coach Pauline is a great coach and we’ve seen great improvement from our child after having her as a coach. Her patience and fun are clear from outside the pool.
Coach Theresa has taught both children and we enjoyed her approach to teaching the littlest. We would recommend southwest swimming for its poeple.

I primarily use the pool for exercise, due to artificial knee replacements and have been doing so for many years.
I love the egym as a starting off point if I have been away from weightlifting or have been injured. Though I haven't done it recently I love Sara Dean's classes and the yoga that is offered

I like that all staff are very kind, friendly, encouraging. The exercise classes are a very good, and the social activities/classes offered are a good variety.

I’ve participated in the Les Mills Strength Training program since Jan 2025 and it’s improved my health and well being. The program has exceptional instructors like Shelley, Iwona, and Gini, and Sophia that have guided me to improve my form. The kids club team has been instrumental in helping my daughter (finally) enjoy getting dropped off instead of having a tantrum. My daughter, Lizzie, has also immensely benefited from swimming lessons with Ms Teresa. Lizzie progressed so much last year with her form with just a couple of months of consistent swim lessons. We will be back to the swimming lessons in the summer. Last, Tonya has such a wonderful and welcoming demeanor, she has helped my daughter and me feel so welcome at Southwest YMCA. Mayu’s yoga classes are awesome and now I’ve started to attend Autum’s pop pilates clas. Although it’s challenging it’s been very rewarding for my core.
