Variety of group classes for members to attend. Love it!
I go to do cardio and to work out in the gym with the free weights. This question doesn't really apply to me. The literal only reason you didn't score a 10/10 is because you close too early; if you were open until 9:30 or even 10...
Treadmill and climber are always available.
I like the instructors for Beginning Fitness Classes, Jack Liu.
Jack is very clear at explaining all the moves and benefits as we move through the routines in class. No complaints or concerns here.
I like Teresa L. for TRX Beginners.
Unfortunate that Teresa has to explain the functions and adjustments of the straps.
It does take time from our exercise routines.
But I love this class and Teresa. She's wonderful in demonstrating and explaining each move to us. Just wish Teresa had more time for the exercise routines.

People are very friendly. Facilities are very clean and well-maintained. And the environment is comfortable for my 78 year old self 😊

There are different types of activities for all ages. Receptionists are very respectful and other coaches are supportive. Towels, Soaps and sanitizers refill constantly. I, personally never face an issue. Thank you to entire team.

The Southwest YMCA on Quito road is a very family friendly place. The staff are very friendly and proactive, always willing to help. They always greet us with a smile, which is a great start to our day. The facilities are well maintained and problems are taken care of reasonably quickly. The personal trainer (Christine) is fantastic! And the value for the monthly charge is still very good. Overall, it's a fabulous place for families to workout, bring their kids and participate in various activities of interest.
The selection of classes is great and new classes pop up every so often too! My favorites are Land Fitness and recently Zumba Gold. Instructors are patient modeling new moves and enthusiastic throughout the class. Always a good work out and also a lot of fun.
Love the weight room including the e circuit. Use the elliptical machine a lot too. I've gotten out of the habit but I like yoga and Sara Dean's dance class too.
Water exercises, which I have done now for 30 yrs now. I wish there was some way they could do the repairs needed on the very old mechanisms that seem to be breaking down. The roof can no longer be opened and closed using the control that was originally meant for being able to operate it as needed. It seems like more money is spent paying a company to come open it in the spring and close it in the winter. Seems to me this is a very expensive way of doing it and not easy for the members to sometimes handle the cold or rain that comes in. Now there are other things that need to be done to keep the air safe for health reasons and it blows on those of us exercising in the first lane. I'm 80 yrs old and trying to keep my total knee replacements in good condition by doing exercises in the water for no weight baring. I love being able to use the water for exercising.

Diverse classes with excellent instructors.
So far I have only used the gym equipment and the pool, but all the staff are friendly and helpful, and facilities are tidy and clean.

Good selection of weight and cardio machines. Good overall layout. Not crowded (I workout from 6:00am-7:00am).
