Member Testimonials
They come in various difficulties and types. I love them!
As a new member, I am thrilled that I found the YMCA. I was impressed by the amount of group classes and the wide range of classes. I also like how humble and friendly the instructors are. The atmosphere of classes are always welcoming and friendly, unlike a lot of gyms in the area.
I love the clean locker rooms and workout facilities. I am active in the Pilates program and I believe that Celine is one of the finest instructors I have ever experienced. She is focused, compassionate, available and very experienced. I was able to take advantage of a swimming scholarship and reduced membership for a young women I mentor through the high school who is undocumented and from a home that struggles to put food on the table. So I like the YMCA for the workout facilities but also for the community outreach and service it offers
Nice facilities, great instructors, wonderful community!
I highly recommend

USE MAIN GYM ONLY. CLEAN AD WELL EQUIPPED
Excellent staff. Variety of programs and schedules. Fits into most lives.
However, the parking difficulty has made me skip class too often. Perhaps 55 minute classes would free the parking lot more quickly and give others a chance to participate. Monday, Weds. 11:30 classes seem the most difficult. Perhaps you've scheduled too many classes at that time.
You have Les Mills programs.
I like the physical space of the gym. There’s a lot of light and it is layed out well.
Core development classes and TRX
I've only been once. I liked the tread mill and the change rooms. It looks like you offer towels to all your patrons? They don't offer that at the Central Y in San Jose. The only thing that could have been better is I brought my headphones to listen to Netflix while I jogged on the tread mill, but you don't offer that. I usually work out at the Central Y, and they do have this feature on their machines.
Nice equipment, very well kept.
Every thing except the parking
I like the Pilates offerings. Also the balance and strength classes.
I am not involved with programming.
I use the warm-up room, the gym cardio area, machines, free weights and the sauna. I appreciate and enjoy that.
Variety of classes, basketball court.
the in-body scan was very motivating for me as well as the e-train (name)
Conscientious staff, great facilities. I don't take advantage of group classes.
great, helpful, friendly employees and equipment
Safe environment with everything needed to workout.
I like the wide range of exercise equipment and the many available programs (way more than I can take advantage of).
Nice staff clean place
I love egym. Classes are varied and schedule is great .
I really enjoy the Les Mills body Combat, CXWorkx, the Sprint demo, and the body step demo youhad there. I particularly love the instructors Anita Yee and Delcy Garcia!
I love the fact that you have so many morning classes, especially dance and weights. I love your friendly staff and instructors. EGym is great, too. I love the fact that I can bring friends and family members with me occasionally without a fee.
I frequently recommend you to friends but most of them have Silver Sneakers gym plans that the Y doesn’t accept so they won’t consider switching to the Y even if they regularly use another gym and like the Y better.
So far I am only doing the water aerobics classes. I love every minute! I find the staff extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly.
I am forever grateful!
