It's clean, it's always funciontal in every area, the staff is friendly and knows all of the answers, the Y has nearly every desireable athletic activity available within reason
I love that it’s always clean and never crowded. The staff are friendly and treat everyone with kindness and respect. What really stands out is how the Y gives back — feeding kids year-round and creating a place that feels safe and welcoming for everyone. It’s a genuine community, not just a gym.
No judgment. People are focused on their own workouts and such. Staff is so polite, the place is clean.

The Y has been a daily part of my life for many years - not only does the facility help enable me to keep my body healthy, it also affords me a social gathering space that helps me remain engaged with the community.
I like the locker rooms and the care closet being available. I also like the bathrooms being available.

The 24 hr room is very convenient for early morning work outs.

The staff and the people I meet there are friendly. I like the facility, especially the steam room and sauna. I also like its proximity to my home. I’m about a mile away from your front door.
You have high quality machines, such as rowing machines and ellipticals that are easy on my joints but let me get a good workout. I also like the battling rope.
I love the amount and type of areas/equipment to use to work out.

My gripe is how employees are having so much fun and love there job, that's a compliment!!!!!! Other gripe is, your costing me more money 💰, I had to buy a new shower 🚿 head cause yours is awesome 👍!!!! I haven't seen one employee with a bad attitude!!!! Kudos to you all!!!
I've always been intimidated about going to the gym. A friend invited me to the Dow Bay Area Y, and I immediately felt comfortable and welcomed. The facility is great, and the staff are always so welcoming. I love showing up at 5:00am for a great class with Christine. The cheerful "good morning!" from Lindsey makes the start of the day even better!
