Any time I go into the Floyd’s barbershop by UCF on Alafaya, the staff is raw, genuine, kind, friendly and personable. Those are traits you can’t really teach, you know. I think that separates them from the rest. On top of an unmatched quality of haircut. RJ, who has bounced between Oviedo and the UCF location was the first barber to put me into a skin fade and he killed it. Been getting the skin fade ever since.
My guy JB, keeps it consistent and clean with a nice tight fade every time! Overall though, from the receptionist to all the barbers, the shop does it right across the board! With all that being said, the music and ambiance is a sweet cherry on top!
If you don’t have a go to barber, or barber shop, go no further. Floyd’s Barbershop UCF, or Oviedo is your one stop shop for quality cuts, unmatched vibes & employees, and a great energy and ambiance to top it all off!

10/10 service doesn't even begin to cover it. Shawn is hands-down one of the best barbers I've ever had, and honestly whatever he's getting paid, it's not enough. The level of skill, attention to detail, and consistency he brings is rare. He somehow manages to deliver lightning-fast service without sacrificing an ounce of quality, which is something very few people can pull off. Every cut looks clean, sharp, and exactly how you want it-if not better. After sitting in Shawn's chair, I genuinely don't trust anyone else to touch my hair. I'll 100% be coming back and recommending him to everyone I know. There was even a cute receptionist working. I think her name was Marley

I had another great experience at Floyd's UCF. Jasper provided another great cut for me, listening to my request and following up as we went along.

Jasper was talented and so kind. The people working there were so welcoming, the atmosphere was nice, and the haircut I got was fire! I got a wolfcut, and my brows waxed, and as someone who's fem but doesn't want to be perceived solely as such, it was such a comforting and gender-affirming haircut to get the layers and texture from a wolfcut done properly (without trying to feminize it). 10/10 would recommend!

My barber (Linda) was very friendly, and I felt it was very easy to converse during the experience. She also helped me decide what I wanted to do with my hair and gave me some great recommendations. Additionally, I’ve been on the look for a barber shop I can make my regular spot for a while now, and I think this is the one. It’s the happiest I’ve been with a haircut in a long time.

Sean was quick and efficient. Also, provided good feedback on haircut options.

The ambience was good and we really like our person who has moved there.

The stylists are very friendly and welcoming. They listen to your styling requests, offer tips and suggestions based on your hair type, and make sure you walk out of there with the haircut you want.
