6. I improvise small projects a lot, sometimes requiring metal components. For a previous project, I purchased stock metal items in aluminum and steel from Amazon at an elevated "convenience" price. Now, Metal Supermarkets will be the first place I shop. It's faster, I can choose from a wider dimensional spectrum, and get that cut to a custom length in just the small quantity I need for a single prototype.
