I like that I'm able to order some rare material dimensions & make-ups, cut to size, in a reasonable timeframe, at a reasonable price; AND, most importantly, the staff in Cedar Rapids is willing to put in the legwork to find these weird orders for me, & seem to like the challenge rather than making me feel like a nuisance, like every other metal supplier in the area.
I needed several pieces of stainless sheet cut quickly and they had it done in less than an hour. Very friendly and helpful.

Senior Disabled Veteran and I went by because of their “cut to size, no minimum” advertising for 2 small metal plates to modify my mobility device. I showed Patrick the dimensions and what I wanted to do. He pulled out his measuring tape and notepad and went to work, Mark walked up and had an idea. There were bundles of metal rods being moved by forklift and sheets of metal being cut, then there was Patrick and Mark engaged in the art of metal craft. I didn’t leave with my 2 small metal plates, I left with a different design installed!!
It’s been 3 weeks and my mobility device is working better than expected.
