Friendly staff

I enjoy group exercises, appreciate all the amazing instructors, and sharing great energy with other members.
However, the GE room floor is always not clean. There are a lot of hairs and dusts on the floor.
Hope you can clean up the GE room more often due to busy and crowded classes.

I love to workout at Family Fitness because you can get on a machine and not have to wait a long time. Staff are always able to answer questions or at least find out the answer if they don’t know.

Love the oldies that they play. The music is relaxing and not too loud. People are polite that come there and the classes have great teachers that don't blast the music either. Very relaxing and low key experience. Love this!!! Locker room is clean. Parking lot is safe and not too crowded.

I mainly go to the Calfit to attend group classes. They are starting to add more group classes and hopefully, there will be more variety of classes the way it used to be pre-Covid.

+ It has a wide variety of options for all different kinds of workouts and fitness levels. Clean club, friendly staff.

What I wish though, is that the fitness class offerings were more robust across all CatFit clubs, as compared to pre-pandemic levels. It would be nice to have more aqua fit classes at all the clubs, especially at Natomas with the indoor club for winter.

It would also be nice to have more Barre and gentle yoga classes throughout all the clubs. Less dance classes - that seems to be taking over many of the group fitness schedules. Also, many clubs that used to offer cycle classes now have nothing (CH) or next to nothing (Natomas/Roseville) even though they have a dedicated cycle room.

I also don't understand why Body Fit has an extra (very large) fee. It is just another type of group fitness class. If it was included in the membership, that might bring in more members and add to the class offerings for everyone.

CalFit used to be known for their Group Fitness program which was one of the things that set them apart from other clubs. I'd like to see that area of the program get more attention.

Facilities are clean, racquetball courts are usually available. Depending on the day and time, it can be difficult to get a turn on some of the weight machines. Overall very pleased though.

I am most impressed by the quality of the childcare professionals. They seem to enjoy their job. I also like that the gym is clean. I have appreciated that overall, gym members are polite and considerate of others.

I like the location and the building. Better equipment then some other CalFit gyms in South Sac.

I enjoy the variety of group fitness classes

I enjoy the equipment, sauna and hot tub and it's walking distance from my house.

Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Courtney, Thea and Rockey are always willing to help me with my concerns and do so with a smile. Good job ladies. Thank you.

Clean, friendly, great kids care, and plenty of machines open all the time

I’m glad to see that the California Family Fitness Greenhaven location has hired someone to clean the mens locker room. This is the main reason I’ve changed my score from a 5 to a 9. I can’t give a perfect 10 score, because a lot of the older equipment needs to be replaced. I don’t consider hand me down equipment from the former McClellan AFB gym an adequate solution.
I’ve always enjoyed the social environment, and enjoy conversing with fellow members. The manager and staff are always friendly, courteous and polite, and listen to my complaints and concerns.

Convenient, clean and classes

The environment is very comfortable and clean. Staff is very friendly.

I like the friendly atmosphere, I like the variety of equipment and the condition of the equipment. I like the variety of options available. I like the hot tub, the pool, the sauna, and the steam room.

What I don't like is the amount of time that the steam room is down, and the lack of cleanliness in the men's locker room and shower area. There is much room for improvement here.
