I have been looking for a new mechanic to call home since moving to the Aurora IL area a few years ago. We all need a trusted mechanic for all those unexpected car mechanical issues. The service I got at Christian Brothers Automotive in Aurora was far above what I am used to getting at a car mechanic.

I took my car to Christian Brothers Automotive on a Friday knowing full well they were closed on the weekend. I didn’t have to be a mechanic to know I needed new brakes and an oil change. The check engine light was on and from what I read on the internet I was hoping my O2 was broken. It wasn’t, an engine timing chain thing needed to be replaced.

They told me it would take 6 hours to replace and put the engine back together and said it couldn’t be rushed. I told them “I need the car on Monday to go to work.” They must have rushed it or got more than one person working on it. I did the math in my head. When I got on their free shuttle service to go home they didn’t even start the brake job. 6 hours later they were calling me to pick up my car and that is how long the engine work was supposed to take.

It was my first time taking my car to Christian Brothers Automotive and it won’t be my last. I think I found a new and trusted home for me to bring my car for auto repairs in the future. I would and have recommended Christian Brothers Automotive in Aurora to people I know for a trusted place to bring one’s vehicle.

Reps were honest and tried their best to find affordable options for me.

All of the employees were polite, respectful, and professional. When I said I’d be waiting around for my car, they offered me drinks and an ice cream. I’d be glad to take my vehicle back for future work.

Competitive prices, courteous service

Everyone there is very friendly and honest. I have no complaints. This is the type of company that you want to take your vehicle to. They will be honest with you about what needs to be done to your vehicle and they can get things done at a reasonable time. The shuttle service is very convenient when needed as well. I had to wait in the waiting area for about 3 hours (my choice) and everyone that came into the shop was satisfied with the services and spoke highly of Christian Brothers automotive. One of the most important things in my book is having a clean shop, work area and also a clean waiting area for the customers. They provide all of those and more. I was also impressed with the amount that I was charged. It is very reasonable and they do great work. I will be going back for any repairs or maintenance I cannot do myself. Thanks again for the excellent experience.

Christian Brothers is a Automotive shop I would feel comfortable and trusting with and that they would assist my wife and daughter as if they were assisting their own wives and daughters.
