Briana has vintage/retro hairstyling expertise. The skills/experience needed for an authentic 1940s/1950s cut are hard to find. I have been twice now, once on my birthday (happy birthday to me), and more recently for a "real" vintage cut. I love how she has excellent communication skills and how she listens to what you want. When I left on my birthday, I felt truly and authentically me. It is such a blessing that we have her here in Austin.

I have been going to Garbo for over 10 years and have always received high quality service. Brianna just helped me make a big change from long to shorter hair, and I LOVE the new cut!!! And she always gets the color JUST RIGHT! Friendly staff, lovely salon. I can't say enough good things.

Crystal does a great job. I’ve referred a friend who had good things to say about her haircut. My only complaint is the bowls they use to shampoo are extremely uncomfortable. I wish there was a way to lean over them instead of cranking my neck back. Otherwise it’s a great place with lots of friendly staff.

I love Garbo! I've been to several other salons in Austin and just nothing compares to the quality of service. I also love supporting y'all because you're local. Crystal did an outstanding job on my hair color. She took her time and was meticulous about the end product. She made sure to communicate with me about what I was looking for beforehand and was cognizant of my budget. I'll definitely come back to see her.

I love, love, love Brianna. She’s fantastic at color and cut. She’s so very creative and skilled at not only cutting and coloring, but listening and figuring out what I want with my hair. I also LOVE the owner of the salon. She works non stop and exudes happiness and her desire to make Garbo the best it can be.

We made a heat styling appt for my daughter. We were in a bit of a rush to get to a senior photo shoot so I didn’t think there would be enough time to get the look that my daughter wanted. Jasmine Godinez worked some magic and totally totally transformed my daughter’s hair in exactly 20 minutes. She did such a nice job and couldn’t have been sweeter. We will definitely be back to see her.
