We purchased our new retirement home in 2020 from CBH. It was our fifth home during our 43-year marriage. Compared to the other four homes this one was lacking in several areas. One area we really wanted to upgrade was our kitchen countertops replacing the cheap Formica countertops with something much better! After checking out several Home Shows in Boise over a few years, we met Jeff and “Red” at one of the first home shows in 2026. They are with “GRANITE TRANSFORMATIONS FOR KITCHENS & BATHS”, a very reputable national company. Lucky for us they have an office in Caldwell where we live. Red called us the week after the show was over to come over and be our Design Consultant. He showed us a very affordable way we could achieve a very high-quality appearance replacing our existing cheap Formica via the overlay method. We replaced one of our other homes kitchen counter tops with Solid Granite, so we had experience with kitchen remodels in the past. Red showed us several samples and helped my wife determine the best combination of backsplash and countertops using the Granite Transformations method! He also showed us his catalog of replacement kitchen sinks to choose from with the understanding that his sub-contractor Sam would work with us replacing whatever kitchen sink we chose whoever we purchased it from. Red completed our in-home appointment by taking exact measurements needed for a written quote. We got the project started by giving Red a check for ½ the project amount up front with an understanding that the second half was due and payable upon project installation. The plumber would be paid by us separately upon completion of uninstalling our Old Sink, Faucet and Garbage Disposal. We also wanted an Under-sink Water Filtration System added to the project as well. Because we were introduced to Granite Transformations at a Home Show, we received a nice discount as well…Bonus!
About a week to 10 days after our initial design consultation, Red and one of the other Granite Transformations team members returned to our home to create custom templates of all the spaces targeted for Granite overlay! CBH had built our home with an island that was much too small for everyday use to save money on construction costs so, we engaged the Granite Transformations team to extend the size of our island to accommodate Bar Stools and give us the proper space most people need in their daily lives. We received a call about a week to 10 days later telling us our custom overlays were fabricated and ready for installation. We scheduled a date for the install and Red coordinated the project with their subcontractor Sam’s Plumbing. Our project was given two days to complete. Jeff and his install teammate arrived on time and spent about an hour prepping the space and laying down carpet and flooring protection. They were both very considerate nice people, and it was obvious they were true installation and fabrication professionals! My wife and I are extremely happy with the entire experience and plan on engaging them for future projects in our new retirement home. The products are high quality and installed perfectly. It was obvious that the gentleman who created the templates was very experienced, and he was very professional. The installers were polite and cognizant of us as homeowners being displaced from our kitchen during the process. Any mess created during installation were picked up/cleaned at the end of each day. The installers were open to speaking with us during the process to ensure everything was being done to our satisfaction. High quality products and excellent customer service

The process was made easy because of the people in your business that worked on this project.. Dennis, due to his resume of experiences, was the perfect salesman to help us fine tune our desires. Vickie has to have the patients of Job because she worked through our planning and my ediosynrccies, her understanding of our needs and goals maked the project come to life. Monica knew how to balance the variables that impacted scheduling and for that we are very thankful. Travis was a jewel making the counter come together perfectly given the condition of our counter and this condo. Travis and Alajondro (I am sure I spelled this wrong) made the installation look like a piece of cake. This project being almost our last project to making this condo liveable, was accomplished by the wonderful team of people you assigned to our home.
Expectations being met are hard to communicate, if I had anything that wasn't perfect was the new counter top did not have any cream or white specks in the granite, along with the black and grey specks, making the new counter darker and less diverse than the sample we chose. I am sure each counter created never looks exactly the same from the previous counter. It was those light specks that tied the grey top to our cream cabinets. But we are happy and probably will paint the cabinets to bring the cabinets in line with the ambiance of the kitchen and new appliances. Whats one more project. Smile. Thank you, Thank you for what you all did for our home.

Aaron and Gabriel were courteous, clean and prompt. I believe my kitchen might have been cleaner than before they started. The workman ship is perfect. Good job fellas.

Service and timely installation

Granite transformations is a great way to replace your countertops!! Because there is no deconstruction, this process is easy and much less messy. They come to measure your existing countertops and bring back the completed new countertops that fit perfectly over your old ones.
It is AMAZING. I would highly recommend this company!!!

Ease of process, from beginning to end. Many options, no pressure sales, after selection, ease and speed on installation. Lifetime warranty on counters and cabinet refacing is great.
