Student Testimonials
I really enjoy CorePower and appreciate the effort that goes into creating a great experience, but I think there are several areas where the studio could improve, especially with so many new teachers.
First, I think it would be very helpful for the studio manager and coordinator to regularly take the new teachers’ classes and provide them with constructive feedback. Having leadership observe the classes firsthand would help ensure that teaching styles, safety, demonstrations, and studio expectations are consistent across the board.
I also think all of the teachers need clearer guidance regarding the infrared heat. I understand that the room can become very hot when a class is full, but I still want to experience the benefits of the infrared environment. Rather than completely turning off the heat, I think it would be better to leave it on and adjust the temperature down a few degrees when necessary.
Another major concern is class capacity. I believe the number of students should be reduced enough to give teachers adequate space to safely demonstrate exercises and allow students to move around comfortably. When the room is overcrowded, it becomes difficult for teachers to demonstrate properly and creates safety issues. For example, there have been times when a mat is positioned directly in front of the door, making it difficult to open the door without stepping onto someone’s mat. That is not a safe situation, particularly in a heated class.
Finally, I still strongly recommend implementing a reservation system for mat markers. I think this would make a significant difference in helping organize the room, reduce confusion, and make the overall experience more comfortable and predictable for everyone.
I’m sharing this feedback because I really want the studio to succeed. With better oversight and feedback for new teachers, appropriate heat management, safer class capacities, and a more organized mat-marker system, I think the overall CorePower experience could be significantly improved.

the staff, the studio, the amenities and the overall Corepower Yoga class is worth every cent. Corepower yoga continues to shine with consistency, depth and inspiration. I have been a member since 2007...keep doing what you do!
I love how when you walk you automatically feel very comfortable and greeted warmly by the staff. The studio is always clean from the towels smelling good to the weights and mats being clean. My favorite instructor is Brinley, her classes are so motivating and challenging and I always feel like a better version of myself after each class. Favorite studio in LA!!
Love Lani! Here style of teaching is exceptional! I would join any class she teaches. The community flow class she instructs is always full of participants.
Gideon is the best teacher I have ever taken in my life.
Many of the instructors at Brea have been teaching for a long time and seem to have extensive education and experience. I feel like Core Power provides safe, mindful & effective exercise guidance while still being super fun! Thank you!
The teachers are very welcoming and the each class is challenging without being pretentious
Highly trained instructors; cleanliness of the facility; and welcoming staff
Cap Hill Studio is so AMAZING! The vibe is great and all of their teachers are GREAT! Thank you Camryn for making Cap Hill studio superb!
Love Jaclin M and Amber CA—they’re truly some of the best teachers! The upgraded space looks amazing. A couple of things I’d love to see in the future: built-in locks for the cubbies so we don’t have to bring our own, and upgraded shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the facilities. Those small touches would make an already great experience even better. It's my favorite studio and has completely changed my body! Grateful for the community as well.
I’ve been to CorePower last 10 years and never disappointed:)
Community, expertise of instructors, positive experience daily
Amazing! Such a great experience at Corepower La Cumbre.
Great class and great instructor
The instructors at UTC are incredible - the last Sculpt class I took with Beverly was one of the best I've ever had! She did a fabulous job of mixing up the flow, and the sequencing was very thoughtful.
I appreciate all of the work that's been put into the UTC studio recently (refreshing the lobby, re-organizing the weights, etc.).
I am curious about the shift in yoga etiquette; oftentimes, students chat with one another loudly before and after class inside the studio. I've been a student at this studio for many years, and I remember instructors asking students to respect the studio and the community as a quiet space. I will say that this isn't unique to UTC; it's really noticeable at PB as well.
I felt pain the next day. It tells me I worked arms and stomach muscles I hadn’t worked out.
Everyone makes you feel so welcomed here! This is my first time finding a workout that I truly enjoy and I come alone most of the time and I never feel weird for being alone. I’ve recruited a few friends to sign up and now we all come together when we can!
great property, and excellent yoga guides
i love my local CorePower Yoga studio! I can walk to class, love the wide variety of times and classes offered. The mgmt and instructors are genuinely wonderful. thx CPY North Park for being the best and inspiring me to do my best. thx, Glenna
Love the studio love the classes, but the safety issue with the flip-flops, 30 to 40 pair at any given time in the popular classes just outside of the door. I personally have tripped over shoes and lucky I didn’t break the door going into studio. This is a real problem that has been a complaint for a very long time with nothing being done. They did put a small basket for people to put their shoes in, but not one person puts their shoes in the basket! There are cubbies and lockers, etc., etc. and it’s not talked about or reinforced at any of the studios and upsetting to a lot of us who have had the same tripping and falling issues
Lola’s slow flow class Noon Wednesday's is the most amazing and unique class! It’s a really tun way to practice

Loving the new studio, vibe, cleanliness and instructor.
Not sure why tho I’ve notified both times I’ve been to this location students are walking in with shoes.
