The friendly and welcoming atmosphere
I have been in a personal search for a yoga community for the past several years. From the moment I attended the first class at MODO (shout out to Cait for my love of Barre), I felt apart of something bigger. I love that when you walk in the owners are there - they know you by name and have genuine conversations with you. This studio is guided and inspired by seven pillars which are visible in the MODO experience. I highly recommend giving MODO a chance to see for yourself the amazing, supportive, positive community that Phil and Ryann have created here in Minnesota.
The yoga abs the staff
That the schedule is reliable and consistent, so it’s easy to incorporate into my routine, I always know when my favourite classes are.
I love how friendly the staff are both behind the desk as well as in class. The vibes at Modo are unique and I have not found a similar place in the twin cities. The classes are filled with all levels of practice, from very high level to beginner, but somehow I have felt comfortable as my practice grows. I like to be around very experienced classmates because I can learn variations by practicing alongside them.

The practice is positive and provides a structured opportunity for me to stretch in an conducive environment. The facility is well maintained and easily accessible. I hope with time I will get to know and communicate with the instructors to improve my practice.

-Love the “different” classes offered for Anniversary, when floor was getting replaced etc. Could these be offered on a weekly or monthly basis in a time slot?

We worked on our own phase, given enough time to position/follow the "voice command".
I just wish that they do something, maybe burn nat oil diffuser of generic scent -- if not bad at all. This should make breathing more enticing (the room could smell so sweaty and sour if you're not the early morning class-- esp Donald location).
Love the heat with moisture like humid. Not very dry like Birkham yoga. Easy to sweat and full of courtesy people. Some knew how to sign Americans sign Language!! Keep it up!!
Easy to park as well. Wish you could have another branch at St. Paul. The only con is traveling 30 min back and forth!!

Clean, convenient class times and great teachers
I love the staff. The variety of classes and the cleanliness of the studio. Everything is just so reliable.
I do think the spacing for the mats in the hot room is a bit off. Some spaces are very open others are a very tight fit. I'm almost kicked in the face at least once a week or so because some spaces are so staggered so strangely. This didn't seem to be a problem before the floors were changed. It seems maybe they weren't properly spaced out?
