Staff was warm and welcoming. Our instructor spent time with my friend and me before and after the class. She also gave us personalized tips and encouragement throughout the class. The facility was clean and inviting. We also didn’t feel rushed out with a subsequent class standing in the wings ready to takeover our space. That’s never great.
I would like to know what membership options are available if I join. I don’t see those outlined on your website. Thank you.
I'm so glad I found Barre3. I'm a former dancer so I love music and movement with variety. Every instructor is different & they're all great. I like that there are all ages and shapes in the classes and that modifications are offered for those of us who aren't 20 anymore. I like that you get a full workout in just 45 min. with lots of class time options.
First barre class ever! I was expecting a warm welcoming visit and was not disappointed. Alyssa was easy to follow and made sure she offered modifications and encouragement when needed. I’ll be taking two more classes next week with two different instructors and look forward to see how their styles differ. I’m looking forward to more good times at Barre3 Newtown.

I usually to go to Barre3 in Portland but, because you have an outside area I came with my sister. It was great! I got a good workout.
The environment was very welcoming. Staff was very encouraging. Both were very helpful since I was feeling nervous and a little intimidated. I loved all the natural light in the studio. Instructor did a great job explaining moves and what to do and what modifications to try. She gave permission to listen to my body and it’s ok to ease up or back off if needed. Barre felt safe (mentally/emotionally) and I will definitely be back. Thank you for creating a space like this for women like me.

The studio is beautiful! Everyone was very welcoming. I loved that Sammy, had everything laid out and told you what to do. Clear instructions with good modifier options. Overall a great experience and can’t wait to be back!!
Everything. But what I love the most is the idea of “you do you you know your body” is real at Barre3. There is no push to do more be better or be like someone else in the room.

Someone asked me in the studio how often I workout and it took me a minute to respond because I was embarrassed to admit I never work out anymore. Then I realized she was asking about how often I come into Barre for classes. And that’s when I realized that to me a workout is lifting weights, running and the typical gym experience. But barre 3 doesn’t feel like that. To me it’s fun. It’s playtime. I’m happy to have found this studio, these instructors, and this fun place where I find joy! Thank you!
