The whole experience was excellent to outstanding which I find is extremely rare these days. A live person answered the phone (rare). There was no waiting (rare). The persons I spoke to were, polite, obliging, knowledgeable and helpful (very rare on all counts). They made an appointment quickly and easily (rare). The inspector arrived on time (rare). The inspector (Briana Cortez) was superb in every respect (unheard of). She was polite, courteous, informative, obliging, efficient, considerate, charming and just great in every other respect. If I were still in business, I would try to hire her. She was an outstandingly charming woman. Her verbal report to me was excellent, (although I wish she had not found some glitches). And, I received the detailed written report that evening.
WOW. All of that was outstanding. I even think the price was not out of line. So, overall, I was extremely pleased with my experience. I would not hesitate to recommend Carson Dunlap to anyone. Thank you all for the good service. I have not seen that in at least 30 years.

Daryl was very approachable and easy to talk to. He made sure I didn’t have any questions about anything of the house. He even told how I could fix things and was able recommend people to help. He was very thorough army crawling through a very tight crawl space. He responds very quick to text and phone calls.

The team at Highland Home Inspections was amazing! We had to schedule an inspection super last minute before our pre-settlement walk, and Rick went out of his way to make it happen within 24 hours. JD was so nice, friendly, and knowledgeable—he really took the time to walk us through everything in our new home and answer all our questions. Dan was very thorough in his inspection and his report. The action list with photos that accompanies the report is very helpful; we will be using it to prioritize the repairs that we will have done first. Dan also shared with us that although he was physically unable to inspect part of our attic, once we take ownership of the house he would be willing to come back out and cut through the wall so that he could complete the attic inspection. Dan had done a previous home inspection for us before; we were pleased when we saw that he'd be the one doing the inspection on our new house!
