I like that activities are planned with kids ages and abilities in mind. I appreciate that staff is trained to keep kids safe and how to respond to accidents or behavior issues.

YMCA Camp Thunderbird is a safe place for my children during the summer, provides activities all day long to include swim lessons, has awesome staff who lead adventures, and keeps my children engaged and happy. My children have made many friends and think their counselors and life guards are wonderful. My children enjoy the activities offered at CTB and have stepped out of their comfort zone many times with the encouragement of their counselors. Each summer at CTB, my children grow and learn. We plan to attend CTB for many years and have recommended many friends along the way.

My kids are outdoors doing physical activities basically all day. There is a wide age range of children, my girls have made friends of all ages. The staff is so friendly. My kids really enjoy going every day.

Lots of outdoor time and physical activities. Both of my children have made great friends they look forward to seeing each summer. They wake up excited to go to camp each day! As a parent the transportation from our local Y to CT is a HUGE help. I also love the friendships they have made and the role models they are with. My son is in the LIT program this year, my daughter cannot wait to also do it. My son plans on being a lifeguard at CT asap and my daughter plans on being a counselor at CT.
