It is amazing,thank you !!
First time and she loved it. She wants to come back again this summer. No complaints.
Fantastic EB program with caring and dedicated counselors and administration staff
The kids have a great time at camp.
My kiddos loved every minute of it! Aqua zip...alpine tower were great fun! Wish they had a little more planned in case of rain ..something to keep the kiddos more entertained like arts and crafts etc! Also out of 2 weeks my kids only got to do the alpine tower once so they were slightly disappointed with that! But overall a lot of fun will be back next year
The variety of activities
The variety of activities and safety measures in place
My son loves CT. I think its well supervised and that they have so many different activities, its always engaging for him. Over several years of going to camp, i have seen him change from being afraid of the Alpine tower and zipline, to being confident and excited about those challenges. He has made good friends there and i can feel confident thru my workday, that he is fine, and outside and away from the screens and devices that drive me nuts. I am so thankful for CT and I know my child loves it too. Nature, guidance , diversity, exercise. Its great!!!
Love the variety of outdoor activities. I wish they would keep better track of activities and which groups have done/not done certain activities. Just last week my daughters group didn’t get to do alpine tower or canoeing even though their counselor kept telling them they were doing it. (Age 10 group) Her friend in a different group didn’t get to do one of his activities either.
The summer party was not well attended because I believe(after talking with multiple parents) most didn’t know about it until Wednesday night with the email that went out.
This year my daughter has friends attending for several weeks the same dates as her. We have requested they be placed together - but based on experience from last year there is a decent likelihood that her requested grouping with her friends won’t happen. I wish they would accommodate group change if a mix up like this happens. It seems to be met with a shoulder shrug and “we can’t change it now” attitude.
Also would like to hear there is more discipline/consequences for kids who are bullying other kids. Seems like those mean kids just rule the Roost and ruin the fun for the other kids. When families are paying $300-400 a week for a camp experience we would like to feel these concerns are all being addressed.
The counselors are very good and have fun with the kids and seem to have a great rapport. . Connor and Kayla are my daughters favorites!
The adaptive nature, the care, attention to detail, and communication.
Variety
My daughter loved Camp Thunderbird. All of the activities were fun and engaging, regardless of skill level. All the activities were well thought out and organized.
My kid loves the staff and being a leader in training. We love that she is off the phone all day.
I was grateful for the access to the bus from Midlothian, and I found the processes organized and well-communicated.
My son loved the variety of activities and the chance to try new things.
My kiddo comes home every day with a smile on her face so that’s all I need.
Logistics made it easy with bus pick up near me. And my kid loved doing every activity at camp!
Great camp experience with tons of outdoor activities for the kids, my boys loved it!
My children enjoy the variety of activities.
Alpine tower, gaga ball, zip lines, marksmanship, singing

Jude had a great time!
Thanks!!
The diversity in staff, campers, and activities. The safety protocols.
My child loves all the activities and wanted to come back for more!
My kids loved everything from the bus rides to days at camp. Given that kids around this age are coming out of COVID isolation and learning social nuances, e.g., not every other kid is as extroverted, it sounds like counselors did a great job navigating this, too.
My son liked the shooting, alpine wall and zipline. He didn't like the "curriculum" time that wasn't as organized. He only attended for one week. He said he wouldn't want to do it again next summer.
Thunderbird has been a wonderful experience for my girls! They love everyday, even the rainy ones! I love how enthusiastic the staff are and how much exercise and fun my girls are having.

Well-planned/scheduled full day of activitites. Daily swimming. Outdoor adventure.
