Both my children have remained engaged, challenged, and enthusiastic about Camp. The are making friends, special memories and have already grown tremendously from the experience and we are only 1/2 way through the summer. Counselor and staff have worked hard to give them both individual attention when challenges have a come up. Counselors and staff have been responsive and had great communication with myself as the parent. I highly recommend Camp Thunderbird.
I have and will continue to sing praises about CTYNCA. Jason and Stephanie are very hands on with their campers, and in the 4 consecutive years that our family has participated in the summer programs we have never had a major issue. It can be annoying when your camper looses towels, lunch boxes and multiple water bottles in a single summer, but it's a small sacrifice for all the fun, friends and learning they get in return.
I am sad that this summer is so short. our kids are starting school earlier than last year. Next year we'll have our full summer back.
We loved it there the kids did things that they have never tried before.
I like the variety
My daughter really enjoys the camp. Has a great time everyday she goes. Staff is wonderful. Only complaint is I wish there were more spots available. I was not able to get her in all sessions. I guess I will try signing up earlier next you. Thunderbird is a great camp.
Kayaking, Canoeing, Fishing, Archery, Sports, Reading. It is all great! Brodie loves Camp Thunderbird!
The management & staff are great! The wide variety of programs and activities is what I like the most about Camp Thunderbird. It keeps the kids happy and busy all day. It's a little something for everyone. Thank you!
Variety of activities and values instilled
I like the fact that my child comes home learning something new. This place is not just a daycare for my child, but he is learning lifeskills that he can have for a lifetime.
Lots of activities.
That it outdoors and full of physical activities. I am great full the kids are organized in small groups that allow them to make new friends.
The counselors and staff were amazing! My kids had a blast!
My two Daughters ages 5 and 9, had the greatest time at Camp Thunderbird! My oldest couldn't stop smiling. We have listened to them sing Thunderbird songs all weekend long and recount all the new things they tried and accomplished. I teared up listening to my Daughters tell me about each of their experiences on the zip lines. My oldest saying how she was so nervous but was willing to face her fears because of the awesome Staff and great Friends she had made at camp. She was so proud of herself and discovered a new love that She didn't know she had. My youngest thought the aqua zip line was too cool. She too went on and on, in only a way a young child can, about how brave she had been. Needless to say Friends were made, goals were accomplished, and fun was had!! Thanks for making me look like an AWESOME Mom!! We will make this Camp a tradition in our Household!
My kids have so much fun every day. There are a variety of activities for them to do. They tell me about zip line, fishing, boating, and swim.
My boys had a wonderful week at Camp Thunderbird! They loved it so much they asked me to switch their other camp weeks to be at Thunderbird.

We love this camp: the staff are friendly, and the activities are amazing. This camp is the only thing we’ve ever found that makes our active boy tired at the end of the day!

I like that the program is geared toward nature, the outdoors, and related activities. It gives kids like mine, who aren't particularly interested in sports, an exciting and active way to spend their summer.

My daughter raves about the programs and activities! There are a lot of activities for the kids and she loves that she gets days when she can choose a favorite - mountain biking every time.

I just know my kid had a blast! I like all the outdoor activities and classic camp activities like archery and shooting.

My son thinks camp Thunderbird is amazing. He loves the activities, and the challenges they present. I think it’s great for helping him build confidence. And of course it’s a great place to hang out with his friends and make new ones.
I love the fact that my child always enjoyed herself even though she only got to attend one week. Hopefully next year she will be able to attend more weeks because I found out late about this camp. She enjoyed swimming, meeting new people, archery, and climbing.
