Both of my daughters learned how to swim with Saf-T-swim of Oceanside. When they started they were both so nervous and although my youngest had some challenges and set backs her teacher worked with her and got her and found a common ground to allow her to continue to progress. Both of my girls left as strong swimmers allowing my husband and I peace of mind that they can handle themselves in the water.
The instructor was friendly and careful with my child. He was prompt and gave us feedback at the end of the lesson.
Facilities are top notch, especially love the clothing dryer. John is patient, incredibly helpful, and great person to deal with- I'm very happy that I chose this location.
We are blessed to have very warm knowledgeable skilled instructors for my 2 daughters. Loved the coffee, cleanliness and child friendly instructors as well. Loved the patience and smile on the front desk staffs.
My daughter has been with Saf-T Swim since she was 4 months old. She has been with at the Bohemia location for about 2 years (current instructor: Todd). We love it! Take it from someone who has tried most locations in Nassau/Suffolk over the years, this is by far my favorite one. Its a lot more organized at this location and my daughter loves Todd! He really does focus on swim time and not play time.
Everything has been super simple and easy and the instructor has been great.

Ayan was very patient with my anxious child. He was able to simultaneously comfort her and challenge her to help her succeed. My daughter can't wait to go back!
My daughter has been going to Saf-T Swim since she was 4 months old. Her teacher, Gaby, is the BEST!!! She is great with my daughter and has helped her learn to love and have fun in the water. I’ve seen so much growth over the past almost 2 years that my daughter has been having lessons and we have Gaby to thank for that!

My kids are in a semiprivate class and the love coach Adriana, the coach make them feel very comfortable and confident about themselves when learning how to swim.
Courtney and Meghan are wonderful with our children; kind, patient and thoughtful. Our children look forward to seeing them every week.
Our instructor, Adriana, is absolutely wonderful! She is personable, attentive, patient and creative. Highly appreciated skills when working with toddlers. We would recommend her and saf-t-swim Melville to everyone!

All of the instructors work together to help create a fun and understanding learning environment. Miss Jenna has helped my son over come a lot of his water anxiety and is very patient when anxiety comes back. Miss Joan and Miss Courtney also help their students encourage my son and let him encourage their students, building everyone's water confidence.

Ms. Christina is an amazing swim teacher. She incorporates the water fun that my daughter likes into the swim lessons to keep her engaged and allowing her to learn the proper skills/pattern of swimming. Ms. Christina also identifies immediately what she does incorrectly in the water and works on fixing her position.
The front desk staff are friendly and extremely helpful in answering questions and helping with scheduling.
For my daughter’s first time there she was very comfortable and seemed to have a great first lesson with lots of smiles!

The venue is always clean and well lit. I like how the staff greets each person/family when they enter, and are always patient with my questions. The instructors are great and I love that the water and pool room is kept warm!
Easy to sign up. My daughter has anxiety so being able to see me in the viewing area makes her feel safe. The class structure is very effective, she has learned more in 4 sessions at SafTSwim than she did in 4 years at the other swim school we tried. Definitely recommend SafTSwim to everyone!!

The instructors, especially ours (Emma) kind, patient, sweet, playful yet gets the lesson done physically and mentally for the kids. Generally kids needs that playfulness and patience to help them trust and have that chemistry with the person teaching them. I appreciate that from most of the instructors they’ve had for Makeups as well.
My kids love their swim instructors. They are patient, kind, and very attentive. They pay attention to my kids level and communicates very well.
I love how the staff greets Ava as we walk in and out. Everyone is so nice and the place is always clean!
Just want to say that we absolutely adore Chris at the front desk. He is incredibly patient with our family and always helps us out so much! We would not be with SafTSwim as long as we have been without him and appreciate him greatly!!!! Thank you for everything Chris!!!!!
The Bohemia Saf-t-Swim has amazing staff starting at the top with Manager Claudia including all the instructors and lifeguards. Classes run on time. Facility is always clean. Lessons are on point and increase the swimmers skill level at regular intervals.
