I enjoy the comprehensive programs offered by the “Y”

My fitness needs are minimal, but I enjoy viewing people of all ages improving their lives as I walk, 'cycle and use a few "machines":

restoring balance and gait with a trainer (miracle worker is what she is!)
enjoying exercise with a large group, to the music and vocals of their "leader"
listening to mermaids of all ages talking about the pool/sauna in the locker room
watching a wide variety of "ball" sports involving all people of all ages

Everyone is extremely nice and friendly. The housekeeper does a wonderful job of keeping everything clean.

My only problem is the schedule shows the pool is open for lap swimming until 10 am. But about 9:40 the lanes a being shut down for a 10 am water aerobics class. This forces swimmers to compress down to 2 lanes. So if you want to swim on Tuesday and Thursday get there early enough to get finished by 9:40.

Excellent programs, instructors and staff. Is it possible to add jump ropes to the group exercise room?

The YMCA has programs for all ages. Kids and parents can be the same class. Senior citizens are not ignored. Everyone is friendly.

I so enjoy all the activities that are offered at my “Y”! The instructors are all great and so awesome to give lots of modifications/variations for different ages and different physical abilities! The front desk and staff are always so welcoming and helpful! I love all my friends that I have met at the “Y”! I’m lucky to be retired from a great career and to enjoy my YMCA to help with my physical, mental, and spiritual well-being!

I love the atmosphere. I love the activities they have for adults and children. I love the spaciousness. I love the water aerobics program. I like that there are programs centered around those that can't do a whole lot of moving around, either due to age or just physical limitations. I love the warm water pool.

There is such a wide variety of options for physical activity and community building, and the staff are so welcoming and helpful, and they work hard to make being at the Y a positive experience for its members.

Group fitness classes are great! Walking track is a good way to get my walk in when the weather doesn't cooperate.

We like being able to come and take advantage of the exercise equipment and other things available at the YMCA. We enjoy the ability to challenge ourselves and get regular exercise and meet other people who enjoy the same thing.

would like to have more of the sessions after work hours. the information would be helpful but not able to make any because they seem to be geared towards the retired age and not the working people over 50.

I like that you have improved in the following areas…..
*Better communication through the app
*the warn water therapy pools availability hours
*the more consistent correct communication when pool hours get interrupted

The staff is always helpful and the teachers in Palates are fantastic. I've gone to those classes for a long time and always enjoy them.

I am very pleased that you have reinstituted regular hours for the warm water pool.
