Varied schedule - family friendly
My trainer is Judy Edwards and she is excellent. She has helped me get stronger and always has tips for me to do things at home. I will be 77 next month so my strength is very important to me. I am always greeted by someone when I come in and I have seen some of my friends there. I am very thankful for being able to have this remarkable place to exercise.
I really enjoy the silver sneaker classic and circuit classes. I would like to see more 9AM classes and more with Ellen and Dana.

The programs take into account the different needs of the various age groups of those who attend the YMCA.

This is the best gym operation in the Bluegrass. It is very accessible, the equipment, and plenty of it, is well maintained, and the knowledgeable staff always ready to assist.
There is a always friendly attitude from staff and its patrons.
Good amount of evening classes to choose from!
I have tried many classes. Never been disappointed. Just started the Reformer class and instructors are excellent. Love Shelly Pugel’s Sunday class, Nicole’s functional fitness, Debbie Savages classes, Josettes yoga and the flow class on Wed. Think her name is Dana. Staff is always helpful in answering my questions and very friendly.

Pilates Reformer: Class availability, cost, and professional instruction.
- Swimming pools good for adults and children.
- Suggest to add “gentle yoga” classes
Pilates with Sheila is excellent.
I like the morning exercise opportunities such as yoga with Josette, barre and mat Pilates with Monika, functional fitness with Rachel, and mat pilates with Dana.
I use the open swim which is GREAT!
I like the variety, and the blend of physical activity offerings with educational offerings
Kids sports programs are great, I would like to see more youth sports opportunities like wrestling or other grappling sports i.e Judo, BJJ….etc. those would be good since you already have the facility for it. Actual coaches on staff would be helpful.

There are so many options and so much support. I have really enjoyed the classes. Dana is AMAZING! I also appreciated getting connected with Erin, for my success appointment. The Y wants me to succeed! I love it!
