I like that there are fitness classes for my 3 year old and 9 year old children. I hope there will be more classes like these.

I like the wide variety of activities available for people of all ages at the YMCA and the friendly, knowledgeable and helpful employees who lead groups, plan activities and make the Y such a welcoming place.

I like that there are programs geared for every age. I am a senior and Silver Sneakers classes allow me to excercise at an appropriate, safe level.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

There’s something for every level — from beginner-friendly classes to more structured strength and cardio sessions. I appreciate the variety and the flexibility in scheduling. I also like that it’s not an intimidating environment — it feels community-focused rather than competitive.
The sauna and recovery options are a great bonus, especially after strength training days. Overall, it’s a well-rounded space that supports consistency, wellness, and real-life balance.

They are geared to many different age groups and interests. And the staff is open to take the time to explain any questions one might have about a certain program.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I love the group fitness classes. The instructors are welcoming, and I always feel like a got a good, full- body workout. They are encouraging and explain different adaptations for the moves so everyone can do what works best for them. You get to know the regular attendees so it feels like hanging out with friends which makes me want to come to class.
