I’ve only done swim lessons for my daughter and that’s it
The instructors are positive and encouraging! They ease the kids into the water in a way that is fun and not overwhelming.
You give the kids a variety of fun and educational things to do.
Continue to keep “seniors” in mind.
Flexibility. The ability to try new classes without commitment. Try several until you find what fits you.
Great program for kids and great alternative to daycare
The staff!
Open at 5:00AM if you work. Variety of things for an individual. Or, there are group activities. Like most "self help" things, there are lots of things available, it is up to the individual to make it work for them.
My granddaughter had a great time at the Sarpy Y camp. She made great friends and was involved in many fun activities. Thank you for being there for our kids
The staff!
As a senior, it is important that I keep up my health with strength training, balance and proper weight. With the classes, trainers and equipment available, I am able to keep myself in shape and lead a much healthier and happier life.
I also enjoy all of the people I have met whether it is the staff or others in the classes. I would have to say joining the Y is one of the best decisions I have made in my life.
Access to a gym and a pool of this caliber for a very reasonable price is totally worth it even before you factor in all the free classes and activities that are available.
I love the group exercise classes for Seniors. Instructors are fun and understanding of limitations.
Amber Cornist, Health and Wellness Manager is fantastic. She is our Weight Loss Group leader, and is a phenomenal coach. Her knowledge, experience and demeanor have helped me so much through this group and I look forward to continuing to work with Amber.
I also love Jill, with whom I've done personal training. She has a deep knowledge base and is a delight to work with.
Variety of activities, detailed schedules.
I love your pool and staff.
I enjoy the water exercises. I enjoy the teachers. I am so glad Sarpy YMCA has as many classes as they do.
So much variety of classes
It is generally pretty clean, has working equipment. I don't take classes or participate in programs. Just a quick workout over lunch! Consider the Southwest YMCA to be my "home" Y.
The Y is a wonderful family centered place.
The instructors in group classes are awesome! They are knowledgeable and always prepared to give me a great workout.
The fitness classes are low-key and accepting.
I just use the cardio and weights area. It's always clean with equipment well maintained.
Just moved to Ralston from CB, I enjoy the atmosphere and the people at the Y. They are pleasant and courteous.
I like friendly caring staff. Also the convenience of group exercises classes and the variety offered.
Hours of operation
I like that going there it’s a nice environment and safe the people who work there are great
I have been a member for many years. Just recently, one of your Aquatic instructor (Mo) was fired from this organization. As a Christian Organization should we not be an example to other organizations by showing Understanding, compassion but most of all Grace. But, from what I understand He was not placed on Probation, but give a harsh Firing. This man (Mo) is an excellent example of how to teach and engage a class. Mo, made sure each new person attending his class for the first time, he made sure they had equipment for the class, made room for them in the pool and he would guide them as to how to correctly do the exercise. I realize, my small voice will fall on deaf ears, Jesus reminds us all to do what is Right, Just and Fair. I ask you Sir for the same for Mo.
Respectfully,

Love the classes .... and instructors! Andrea Skarda and Karin are fantastic!

While it costs me a lot, private swim lessons for my kid with Mo Lowry are with it. He is such a great teacher!! We do lessons twice a week, It would be great if I got a discount when I buy $350 worth of lessons at a time.
I really wish our Y would be able to start a swim team. It would be great to represent the Y in that manner.
