I love going to one (LOCAL) place that satisfies what I am attending for.
That has recently included this YWCA. The SOFYMCA is large enough to service the multitude of people whose exercise and social needs are met in a family inspired cooperative setting.
I need, therefore, am happy to find and will definately use the senior cardio, calistinics, & weight training class in the gym as well as the indoor track overhead! Swimming, taught to all ages..will soon include 68+ me! Later I will take part in the Zumba, Salsa, or even Tychi classes. Meanwhile, I am so glad that the other members are using the additional large, medium, small, and intimate rooms and spaces for their own specific needs and desires. I love that we all have so many well trained personnel, teachers and options helping us become or stay ...fit for living...today throughout our tomorrow's. Thanks for asking!!!!

Very nice YMCA. The people and staff are friendlier than the downtown YMCA. Clean and well maintained. I wish more color was used in the renovations. I don't like grays and black and dull muted colors. Sometimes there is too much trash talking and bad language coming from the gym floor.

The facility is clean, equipment is in great shape, the staff is friendly, the classes are excellent. From my first visit at the Royal Oak location, Makaya was awesome! Every time I am there, I have a good experience. I love Vicki's stretch classes during the week and on Sunday mornings, so refreshing.
The sign up for a membership was very easy. I can add my name to a group class when I have free time to go. The staff is very friendly.
I like the staff, the programs and the wellness center.
It's really easy to sign up, and I love having access to the pool. I can't wait to start my little one in in classes.
