I have been going to the Water Aerobics class there for over a year and I love how warm the water temperature is kept. I have also participated in the chair yoga class, and have played pickleball there, although, not for very long as I tore my Achilles tendon........ouch! The staff is very friendly and professional.

I appreciate the friendships that develop with the members as we exercise and take care of our bodies. Our family started participating at the Macomb YMCA in 1992 when we moved in the area and our children were young involved in classes while we as adults participated in exercise classes. They did Y's Guys and Gals Preschool, swimming classes, gymnastics, ballet classes, nutrition program and synchronized swimming, and having their birthdays parties there using the pool. Many great memories were developed through the YMCA programs for our whole family.
Currently in my retirement I have taken the Water Aerobics classes, Beginners Tai Chi and Chair Yoga and exercising in the equipment room and pool. I have enjoyed the classes with knowledgeable and helpful instructors. They have helped me gain strength and mobility after a bad back, knees and hip. I have developed friends in my classes and a social outlet that has helped me in my mind, body and spirit. I am grateful for the YMCA and what it has provided for me and my family as we have developed from infants to senior adults.
I just started taking a couple of exercise classes hat are taught by experienced and knowledgeable instructors. Pickleball courts are available in the mornings and during Open Gym. I'd like to see a scheduled Pickleball night so 2 courts could be used.
The work staff are very friendly
The Y has great facilities with a lot of variety to offer, gyms, pools,workout rooms and more. Combining that with the friendly staff, I don't see a reason to go to any other facilities!

I really enjoy the YMCA in Mt Clemens. The personnel are always smiling and very nice and helpful and the exercise equipment is top notch and always clean.
They will let me cancel my membership in December when I go to Florida for the winter and resume in May when I return to Michigan
Open gym and pickleball time
I appreciate that the Y recognizes the popularity of Pickleball and makes it available in the gym during the cooler months. I just wish it was available 5 days a week in the mornings at the Mt Clemens location.

The Macomb family YMCA is not only a great place to workout but the staff and members are like family.
I love the Y! I love their classes! The instructors are great! The people are friendly.
The Y was my work out facility pre-Covid. Having just recently returned I am once again grateful for the caring and efficient staff, the helpful and supportive participants, and the skill of my instructor, Susan.
I plan to continue although somewhat disappointed Silver Sneakers will no longer be accepted.

Great well equipped and clean facility. Staff is wonderful. Instructors are terrific, patient and attentive. Classes for all levels of ability.
