Everyone is so very friendly and very accommodating.
Good programs. Great facility.
I tell everyone...This YMCA is the best! and all my senior friends are looking for somewhere to go.
It is friendly.
They try to keep it clean everywhere.
It is impossible, when you see what long hair gals do with their hair in the showers.
The pool is the best and warmest within 100 miles!
Thank you for the warm water, that is why I am here.
I just wish we could find more lifeguards, so we can swim between 12 and 3
Friendy Staff. Good classes
I love it
The staff is very helpful and informative. As a family, we try to take full advantage of the gym and what it has to offer. The kids love the staff in the childcare room. (My kids motivate me to work out. They wanna come play at the Y with their friends).
I really like how the staff approaches you if and when your child needs changing. We feel safe and comfortable within the community you provide. Thank you!

I really like my water exercise classes. Water temperature is normally very nice. Mariam is a great instructor and motivates me to work hard.
Friendly and experienced staff. They go out of their way to be helpful.
Lots of variety, so the class isn’t boring
The Macomb Y has become a place of refuge for my family. I had severe postpartum depression and we did not have much of a support system to help our family through it. The Y became that support system. I was able to rebuild my sense of self in discovering weight lifting and quite literally built my mental strength by building my physical strength. This was only available to me because of the child watch services. On days I felt really low, I would sit and take a breather while my children were in child watch. If it were not for parents night out, my husband and I would never get a date night. The kids adore the Y as well. They get mad at us if we pick them up early from parents night out. They take swimming lessons and love their instructors. The lessons are especially valuable for my autistic son who is working on his fear of getting his face wet. The instructors are so kind and affirming when working with him. We are looking forward to signing the kids up for karate soon. Thank you to the staff at the Macomb Y. You guys are incredible and have made a huge impact on my family. The community you have built is truly special!
The programs that are slated to senior citizen’s health and the times of day the programs are offered..

There is a real since it community here. People talk to each other and laugh and joke around. One day, I saw a card on the desk that members were signing for another ill long-term member. The chairs are named for a member who passed away with a tribute to him. You don’t see this at other gyms.
I also love the classes and child care. My daughter is learning to swim, too!
The Y is a community. It's more than a gym. I've made many friends and even met my husband at the Macomb Family YMCA. Years ago ( early 70's) I learned to swim at the Macomb Y. The staff

Friendly staff, nice clean facility.
