Would like to use more of the facility but not available due to Covid-19’. I will keep trying love the YMCA and the upgrade to the Women’s locker room.
I just use the Y for lap swimming and I love that it's now opening at 5:30am M-W-F
The locker room remodel is also really nice and makes it a great place to come and get my swim on.
Member friendly hours
The instructors are excellent at their respective classes, the facilities are recently updated with new workout equipment, the class schedules offer a wide variety of workout options and the people who choose the Y are family oriented with good values. I’ve been a member for over 20 years and am very happy with the decision I made long ago. Why choose the Y ? Because it is a part of You!! (underline the Y in you) 😉

I use the Weight-Room, always convivial, then get on a bike, then go on the track, then play a game of 21 ( Basketball.) Always a good experience!
I like that the facility is very clean and easy to get to any particular space such as pool area, gym, fitness room and weight room to name a few. The staff is very friendly and helpful as well.
Work out classes are excellent
I like the new locker room , showers & changing rooms. However I would like to see the therapy pool hours to be extended into the afternoon.
I would tell anyone that it used to be a wonderfully social place where friends could meet and drink coffee after swimming or exercising. Sadly, that part has disappeared since Covid. The new locker rooms are gorgeous, but have become less social - true at least in the Women's locker room. When the social aspects change, the Y will once again be a place where people want to come to see friends and meet others.

The staff is helpful and professional. The Farmington Y has some of the best people!
The swimming Pools and adjacent Changing Rooms/Showers are kept in pristine conditions.
(If you’d like to put the temperature up another couple of degrees, and get rid of that miserable fan in the Robertson Pool, it could be better still).
