The place was clean. My masseuse was professional. I got served within a reasonable amount of time without too much waiting. I liked the decor. Everything was calm and soothing.

I was wondering why the massage started in the chair however? It used to be that you faced the chair with your feet in the water, and they thorough massaged your neck and shoulders. Sitting in the chair right away didn't provide as thorough a back and neck massage. Is it possible to go back to the old way? Or at least to request it?

BTW, I was thinking about Joe, I believe he was the man who was shot I hope his recovery(both mental and physical) went well.

Great service
I had a tight window to fit in a 30 minute back massage because I really needed it but was super busy on Friday. Someone at Kume scheduled with me by text and when I arrived 2 minutes late they clearly were trying to help me get into the room quickly (and calmly). The massage was great and I wished it were longer. They got me out of there a couple minutes after I wanted to be walking out of the door. I felt very taken care of all around.

Tony is amazing. The front desk was very responsive to my disappointment about being misinformed when I was making my online booking that I may have the option of a male therapist for my sea salt scrub.

Quiet, clean, professional and great massages.
Due to the claremont hotel not starting this service back I did a little snooping and found KUME. Reading the review's I SAID at lease try. If not pleased I would not come back.
BOY !!!! was I surprised
The front staff was very kind letting me know immediately that the person was running a little behind. NOT just leaving me setting with nothing said.
When the person arrived she immediately apologized for being late.
Very shortly she came forward and said "I am ready"
She again introduced herself. Handed me the basket for my belongs.
Provided me with towel's, bath slipper's and a shower cap.
AS I sat and waited to her to station readied. ARE YOU OKAY ? Yes thank you.
When she was ready she assisted my to the table and made sure I was comfortable.
She was very gentle with me But I assured that pleased and Please apply a little more pressure for scub.
When she was ready for me to move she was rite there to make sure I was safe and comfortable.
When she finished my time she asked how I was feeling and explained that I should not take a bath or shower for 2 days.

The masseur was very skilled and responsive to my directions. The facility is always very clean and the staff are welcoming.
I do wish the receptionist had been masked, but otherwise I felt very safe. I love Kume and the care and service you provide.

My wife and I have been going to Kume for 12 years. They offer great, affordable massages by skilled staff. I prefer deep tissue massage and my wife prefers lighter pressure and we’ve both been satisfied for more than a decade!

Great masseuse, but every time I am there, the music is inconsistent (not on for a good portion of my time). It would be nice to help drown out the noise. And maybe out a sign up to remind guests to use quiet voices
