we only use the pool and locker rooms but they are always clean and easy to access. lifeguards and staff that we come in contact with are always friendly and helpful and nice to always see familiar faces. now that pool has been repaired the water is clean and clear and no longer has a pungent chlorine smell. Thank you!!!

The people behind the counter are super nice! The older lady sorry I didn’t catch her name but she seals to everyone that scans their card she’s amazing! Some people at that day Camp tho should be trained better how to deal with a child having a melt down! Overall this everyone is SUPER

They are pretty good at sticking to the rules. I am a swimmer and sometimes there are those who expect to have their own lane. The guards are decent at keeping the two per lane model now.
While I am aware the facility is aging, I am in hopes that the Detroit YMCA group keeps it up to par. There was recently a major pump? issue with the pool that had it unavailable for over two weeks. I was there when the facility was built, so I know how old it is. Hoping that there is a projected annual plan to continually maintain and upgrade mechanicals so that we don't experience that type of issue in the future.

Variety of ways to stay in shape. I like the pool the best. But, please keep the pool open in the afternoon from 12-3. thanks
