This gym is always clean and, renovated with new machines.
I am a new member. I chose the Salem Y because I love being in Salem—to a multi-aged diverse environment. The facility is bright and well-maintained (there have been maintenance staff present cleaning each day), especially the pool and women’s locker room. The downstairs lounge area is lovely.
beautifly clean facility and the locker rooms are very clean. wonderful staff who always say hello and are there to help you with whatever you need help.
The Salem Y is a family oriented center. I love that all ages are welcome and that programs and classes are available for all ages.
As a senior, I would like to see a yoga and a Pilates class, stretch and movement class specific for seniors.
My only complaint is that a number of classes get canceled, often the day of the class, making it hard for those like myself who make the classes a priority.

Warm friendly staff seeking to help out any needs or requests. Only drawback is parking is $1.00 per hour whil you are at the Y.

I love the Salem Y. I swim regularly and the staff and facilities are great!!! Everyone- from the Front Desk person, to the cleaning staff, to the LifeGuards - is pleasant and helpful.
Salem Y? It's convenient for me. It's small and intimate. The pool is readily available.

Instructors are amazing with the kids and also my daughter love every she has learned so far.
Ms. Nancy has been great. She takes swimming very serious and we appreciate that.

My son attended both the summer program and is in after school care and they have both been 10/10! He loves it and we feel blessed to have it available to us. Staff is professional and he gets lots of physical activity which is important to us.

Everything! Starting with staff who are unparalleled, the program activities which keep the kids engaged and busy, and the staff, did I already mention them.
Only thing I would appreciate bringing back is on those days like voting days or ones that accommodate when schools are closed, that early drop off be reinstated, even for a fee otherwise I have to take the day off cuz I won’t make it in on time.

Great facility and staff
The swim instructors are very friendly and are happy to jump in to assist children with more or less experience throughout each class. I also like the fact the classes are filled with smaller groups which makes these lessons more personal and better learning experience.

I love the Salem Y! Since I work at the Beverly Y and live in Salem I chose the Salem Y to work out as do my kids. Everybody is always friendly and welcoming and the fitness floor is clean and organized and has all the equipment I need for a good workout.
