We have 2 kids so a 10am and 11am class have been perfect for us. It is not too crowded so don't feel too stressed while there with the other child.

The YMCA is one of the most complete gym around north shore , offering a varieties of different classes and training programs with excellent and very professional teachers and staff. Since I Joined the program all I can said is that it’s the best that have happened to me in a long time.
Great staff, great equipment in the fitness center, lots of programs/extras for members, it's a great deal! Very happy with my membership thus far!

There are great classes with great teachers. People are friendly. There is a good pool. Can visit a good group of Ys!
Love Salem YMCA. ONly complaint is members have to pay for parking. Y needs to negotiate with the city to let members use parking passes.

The YMCA Salem Theater program has been a gift to our family. My son has dyslexia and several other learning disabilities that make school and other settings challenging for him. He has been embraced and celebrated in the theater program. It has been a safe and nurturing setting for him to find his strengths and experience success. My daughter, who is newer to the program also found herself welcomed and encouraged by the staff. Both of my kids have found their community. Justin Hatch and his team have created the ultimate safe space that celebrates each child’s unique gifts and embraces diversity in all its forms. We are deeply appreciative of the staff and the program.
I lover aqua aerobics! Exercising in the pool with like minded folks is great fun.
People were very nice and very helpful. Had a great time.
I enjoy the different programs included and the fact that we are not limited to one center. It’s also great for kids to be social.

The cost can't be beat, and I love that they go out for walks whenever they can. All the caretakers are lovely.
