Teaches the kids to share and get along with other children especially children that are an only child.
Great machines, personable employees that make you feel like family and a great atmosphere. You’re the only Y that has medal plates which a huge plus LOL. If we didn’t live in Gloucester, we would be going there all the time.

Let us clean it ourselves, it’s getting gross, need water to self clean- or else, get someone in there every hour on the hour to clean it. Pubic hair etc. turn up the heat, it’s not hot enuff, don’t treat us like children - put a sign up if something isn’t right - everyone loves the steam so pls put a hose in there so we can feel clean and not like it has cooties or Covid !!

Archery, the fact they get to swim on most days. My son came home with a story everyday of a fun activity
I love the outdoor-disconnected activities the campers engage in all summer. I love how my children have mastered the art and importance of swimming. Thank you to the incredible patient staff. A great summer

Camp Harbor Quest was so great for my little one! She started off in the younger group and turned 7 in the summer so she was able to attend the next group up and did great. She loved the different activities that were offered. The program ran very smooth and great communication between the staff & parents.
You keep the children active and interact with the kids in a positive manner. Which gives them feeling of belonging and purpose to a community.

The Creative Arts camp is such a gift for kids who don’t like/fit into typical summer day camp. We love how they provide enough structure to have a worthwhile experience but enough flexibility to let kids create in the ways that they most enjoy.
The variety of activities and outings is very enriching and engaging for all the children.
Everyone is so friendly. Equipment is clean and in good order.
I love the Y. It is a great crowd and the staff and people that go are kind and motivated! Jimmy in the morning is great. The equipment is above average to excellent, and the frequents equipment updates are nice. The toilets and showers are ALWAYS clean, and the equipment is well maintained.
The value is amazing, the saunas are great, and there's a wide range of classes!
The y is a very welcoming place. The equipment and classes are great. The facilities are always super clean. The staff are all really nice and talented.

I work out regularly at the Salem Y and have been enjoying the extra strength training class options on weeknights (Rick Johnson), in addition to Beth's strength classes which I've been attending for years. I'm looking forward to trying the new rebound classes that start soon.
