My daughter had never been so comfortable in the water before she started her lessons. Now it's one of her favorite things to do any day just to pass the time. She gained a new skill and learn to enjoy swimming, so I couldn't recommend it more.

I love how progressive the Salem Y is. I took a sound healing class, had orientation, did some water exercises, used the sauna and steam room. I am looking forward to taking a Tai Chi class as well as rebound and yoga.

I like the Salem Y because it not only provides an exercise room on the second floor, and, a swimming pool and, multiple classes of all type for all ages. And, the younger generations like the family Day Care. The YMC staff is great and, they go out of their way to help out with everyone.
I have a 6:00 - 7:00 am Monday - Friday workout routine and, I am greeted by Jimmy every morning who is always cheerful and most welcoming.
