Love swim instructors and lessons at Y. Just wish there were more family shower and changing room options at the LVO YMCA.
Our 4 year old boy has a lot of vigorous energy. The class ratio and the support staff on hand at the Marblehead location has made for a VERY successful experience for us, better than previous experiences elsewhere, even at other local YMCAs. In addition to all of this, there is one staff member in particular who has been so good to us. When I was chasing after my 4 year old energy ball, one of his teachers came over to us and said, "You know who else had a lot of energy when he was little, Michael Phelps!" Her words were like a balm to my frayed mother's nerves. <3

#2After almost a year away from the Y I was looking for a gentle entry to a fitness routine and saw the class (5/10 5:30 pm Restore, Align ) The instructor Sky, was knowledgeable and attentive to the participants’ expectations and skill level.
It is clean and physically the equipment is well maintained.
So much to offer all age groups!!

It’s a multi-function facility serving a wide range of age groups with a diverse set of services. A great family atmosphere. The staff is friendly and the equipment is well cared for. An overall positive experience!

Absolutely love the Basketball program and the coaches. Coach Nick is an excellent coach and takes his time with each child to improve their skill set.
This is the best Y I have ever been a member of. I use the pool and weight room and am very pleased with both.
The Y is very well equipped, clean and well run. It's frequented by all age groups
and has an energy all its own.
Great instructors, staff is very nice, the space is really open, and space for the classes! I especially like the powefit studio and how we can use it privately for an hour for the class with the instructor. All other Y's have private studios, it makes sense that we can have a private space for our class without people coming in and interrupting!
I wish there was a steamroom, and a more-private sauna.
Everything I need in one place. Clean and helpful, friendly people who work there. I also love the cafe!

Clases and schedules are awesome. The place is huge and clean. Instructors are great. The location of the building is safe and secure. The parking lot is gigantic, compared to other YMCA buildings. This facility is very convenient for me.
Great atmosphere and offerings
The Lynch/van Otterloo YMCA is a wonderful facility. The design and architecture are pleasing and everything is immaculate. Everything is up to date and well maintained. The staff are welcoming and helpful.
