Absolutely, we love sauna and pool at Salem location. The stuff are friendly and very helpful.
Is a friendly environment. I went in for the first time to work out and felt a little nervous but then realized everyone was there for the same thing and felt no judgement. Plus is a very clean place.

It’s clean, the front desk is helpful and welcoming and there are good exercise options. I like that I can get a membership through my senior Medicare health benefits, and use it at other Ys.

The shallow pool depth and warmth is perfect for our 2 little kids. Plenty of open swim times. The staff is nice too.
Not sure how to spell the teachers name, but Narius is an excellent instructor. My daughter was super nervous and she let him know the first day and he was amazing at keeping her anxiety down. I cannot express enough how awesome he is and my daughter loves him! All instructors should be this way!

We also can’t say enough positive things about all the swim instructors (Sue, Sylvia, Jen). I know there are other great instructors but we haven’t worked with them yet. Thanks!
The instructor is knowledgeable and learning happens very quickly as compared to other swim programs we have been enrolled in. It was amazing to see after only 3 lessons our son swimming independently on a pool noodle!
Many variety classes, nice environment, cafe
If anybody asks about the Lynch/van Otterloo Y, I'd certainly recommend it. The Y has something to offer for all ages and levels of fitness.
My daughter has attended gymnastics classes for almost 2 years and she absolutely loves it. She tells me how great her instructors are, she's always learning new things and has made some really good friends

Great atmosphere; clean and friendly
I loved how small our class was, really good for my child with some neurodivergent issues. The teachers were awesome as well!
