Por ese medio primeramente quiero agradecer al equipo entero que ha demostrado su dedicación al desarrollo y bienestar de todos los niños. Ese programa ofrece diferentes actividades educativas para integrar a los niños a socializar, leer, jugar y compartir. Como madre he visto un progreso enorme en todos los sentidos en la vida de mi hijo. Las maestras están preparando los niños para el kindergarten enseñando las letras, los números, los diferentes colores y muchos más. El está aprendiendo a nadar y conoce a todos sus compañeros de la escuela.
Me siento muy orgullosa y feliz de ver que mi hijo le encanta ir a su escuela en la mañana. Gracias por todo y que nuestro padre celestial le bendiga a todos.

The water aerobic classes are great. I just started personal training with Michaela in the gym. She is doing a great job helping me on my health journey to build my strength after surgery.

We like the variety of programs and the wonderful teachers. We appreciate all the advocacy and support Ms. Hassania and Ms. Julie have given Catherine. They truly care about what is best for her and we couldn’t appreciate it more!

First and foremost - the people. The teachers in the Peach Room are among the best we have ever had the pleasure of working with. They take care of the kids in a loving and encouraging way while teaching them valuable life skills. I have complete trust in Julie & Hassania. I know they are giving their best to these kids, and my family every single day. My daughter also has great relationships with other teachers, and staff members. In addition to the incredible teachers and staff, the Y is also incredibly convenient for my family with the location and all the different programs they offer. In addition to The ELC Center, we also participate in after school programs, and summer camps. The location is great, the facilities are amazing, and they offer so many additional programs for kids enrolled at the ELC, they are learning life skills.

We really appreciate how engaging and thought out the weeks are. They keep AJ excited to learn and participate each day. There is a good balance between structured learning and free play that feels just right for my toddler’s development and creativity. We’ve also noticed positive growth in his social skills, language, and overall confidence, which speaks to the nurturing and attentive environment he’s in.

Thank you for the patience, creativity and humor you bring to teaching our kids! You are helping them discover their strengths and be good humans. Harriet is more than ready for kindergarten but we will miss you all immensely!

I think the instruction is excellent, and I have appreciated the varied activities Maeve is exposed to, including swimming and gymnastics.

Please be advised the purpose of this note is simply to acknowledge your office my family is extremely grateful for the service provided by the early Chitwood staffs and Management of the Swampscott/Marblehead YMCA. We value the progress we've seen. Upon entering the program our son was very shy and was unable neither in English nor in Spanish with his classmates or teachers. My oldest son also attended the program is also happy to see his little brother progress .He is more polite and most importantly enjoy to wake up in the morning simply to get ready to go to school. The teachers are true professional and care for the betterment of their students. My son was sick and had to take a week off. Mrs. Martinez the Headmaster of the program call us to check on Galvin which was really amazing.

Once again we greatly appreciate your team dedication for going above and beyond betterment of our lovely child early education.

We couldn’t be happier with this preschool program—10/10, highly recommend! I’ve now had two children go through the program, and every single day I’m grateful for the love, care, and genuine support the teachers show not just to my kids, but to our entire family.
The academic growth has far exceeded anything I could have imagined at this age, but what’s been even more meaningful is watching their sense of social responsibility and community blossom. It’s truly something special to see.
The daily communication, photos, and little stories they share are the highlight of my day and give me such comfort knowing my children are in such a nurturing, engaging environment. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of this community.

There are so many wonderful qualities about the LVO ELC. I feel confident dropping my son at school in the morning knowing he is going to be well cared for and engaged in activities that are developmentally appropriate for him. The fact that almost all of the teachers - even the ones not in his class - know his name when we walk in and out of school is a testament to how much the staff care about and invest in the children of the ELC.

The ELC program is the best! Our kids love their teachers and all the staff so much! The program is exceptional.

Our boys love the Infant Room and Toddler 4. Thank you to all of the wonderful ELC teachers for creating such a caring, nurturing environment. A special thank you to Ms. Ro, Miss Lane, Mrs. Alisha, and Miss Kaely. We’re so grateful for everything you do!

Renovations came out great, super full staffing, clean and well-organized training facility.

Great facility, a good selection of classes and equipment. I also started training sessions with Kaitlin, and she is helping me bring heavier weights and core work into my regular workout, so now I'm using equipment and machines that I've never used before and it's great!

I appreciate the wonderful staff. Austin is always smiling and polite, which brings so much joy to my child. Thanks to him, my child comes to the Y with a big smile every time. It’s such a relief for me to know that I can work while my child is being cared for and getting help with homework. This program is a great support for single working mothers who don’t have backup to assist with their child’s future. I hope it continues so that other mothers can also benefit from it. Sending many blessings to everyone!

We absolutely love Mari (hope that is spelled right) and have been with her since September of 2025. My kids did not take to water like fish. They needed someone to keep it light and fun and push them ever so slightly but not make them shut down. Pushing too hard caused stress, anxiety, and meltdowns - which isn’t fun for anyone. They have gotten far more comfortable in the water and I look forward to continuing their progress!

Jerry Justice is brilliant and a true autism whisperer like he can teach any kid to swim

Our (almost) 3 year old son had a wonderful experience in the spring session. The instructor was so helpful and made sure to circulate and teach all the kids in the class. We are very happy with our son’s swimming lessons!
