I just rejoined after a few years and this is a wonderful Y. I primarily swim and the pool , in doors for me, is just a wonderful pool. water temp great and easy to use.

The updated YMCA looks amazing. It's clean, bright and well kept. The staff is exceptionally helpful. I have worked with trainers who have been excellent and helped me considerably.

Children's Island is a unique, fun experience! My son loved it!
My son attended sports mania camp over the summer. He had a great time and made new friends! He’s usually a more reserved, quiet child, but Michael and Dom made sure that he felt comfortable. He even won most respectful camper!

The facility is so nice. The equipment is up date and clean, most of all, the staff is very friendly and helpful.
Our kids love YMCA Camp! Children's Island and Sports Mania are the fan favorites in our house. Being able to go on a boat to summer camp is so special and being able to engage with flagpole all the activities each day is amazing. Our kids come home happy, excited, exhausted and are always ready to go back the next day!

Children's Island did such a wonderful job welcoming Robinson as an out-of-town camper, and in particular Ashley and Marin on the inclusivity team were particularly wonderful with helping him feel included and get his bearings.
Hi, I wanted to express just how amazing the staff at Children's Island where. My kids where there all of August, and I consistently saw all the staff having fun and positive interactions not just with my kids, but with all of the campers.
There were a couple times throughout the month that one or both of my kids were having a hard time, whether it was over a project not going the way it was envisioned to go or not wanting to get on the boat and the staff was incredibly generous and supportive and patient. I particularly want to give a shout out to Jill for dealing with my son's outbursts and for being so patient and kind with him and clarifying things with me when I had questions. She was amazing, and I saw her consistently doing this with other campers when they were having a hard time.
I also want to give a shout out to Ashley who also had to deal with my son's meltdowns over multiple art projects. She was so effective and kind in communicating to me any issues, and wanted to work with me to come up with a plan to have a better day the next day. She was so awesome!
I can't thank you all enough for offering this great program. We'll see you next summer!
We love the Children's Island counselors and hope they have a wonderful year at school! All of the counselors work so hard to make the campers feel included and supported. We hope everyone returns next summer!
