I love that you follow a curriculum and have activities that are inclusive for everyone. My son comes home all the time excited to share what he’s learned and/or participated in that day. Carlos and his team do a great job!

Members' needs and requests are addressed in a positive timely manner. Instructor respect their class members, give individual attention and encouragement throughout the classes. Members' request for volume of music, temperature of the room and any adjustments are met with respect and action to correct. I love the Haverhill YMCA.

Location is convenient, the hrs are great for working members, early hours and evening hours. I'm an early morning person and the morning staff members are awesome.

The facility is always clean. Locker rooms are nice, big and clean.

I have no real issues, except it's hard to get a warm shower. Seems all I get is cold water. Brrr. I less there are two or three others showering then you get hot water.

The water aerobics instructors are kind and don’t embarrass you in front of the group. They appreciate the fact that those that attend become friends. They allow social interaction and don’t take themselves seriously. One negative note : The air in the pool area becomes cold to freezing as winter approaches. This should be addressed! last year I suspended my membership in January because of this. I sincerely hope this gets resolved this year!!!

What I appreciate most about the program is the warm and caring environment you create for the children. It gives me peace of mind knowing that my children are in a safe place where they feel welcomed, supported, and cared for. They genuinely enjoy the activities, spending time with their friends, and coming to the program. I’m especially grateful for the kindness and dedication of the staff and for all the effort you put into making each day fun, engaging, and meaningful for the children. Thank you for everything you do!

Kody is doing such a great job ! I would definitely recommend the ymca school age to a friend/family member because of him . He’s awesome !

I think the Penn Brook Extended Day Program is very well run. Carlos does an outstanding job communicating with parents and keeping families informed. I particularly appreciate the support the program provides on early dismissal days, select school holidays, and during school vacation weeks.

While I don’t necessarily need my child to attend the extended day program because I have a flexible schedule, my son specifically asks to go—which, to me, is the best sign of a great program! He genuinely enjoys being there and looks forward to spending time in the program.

Fabulous job by Carlos and all of the staff who make the Penn Brook Extended Day Program such a wonderful experience for the kids and families!

They keep the kids busy. They have a lot of activities for them to do. My daughter loves it.

The hours are great because of my unpredictable work schedule. I love that my daughter like being in the program.

Our daughter has had a smooth transition to kindergarten and I can’t say how wonderful the before and after school care from the YMCA is. Everyone is so nice and my daughter has made friends already.

staff is great. the equipment is top of the line. the facility is super clean. convenient parking. not super crowded. 10/10 for me!

The teacher encourages my daughter to try new things without any pressure and has her smiling the whole time.
He meets her where she is in her process of learning how to swim and she can’t wait each week to return to swimming lessons.
