The facility is bright, clean and welcoming. The equipment is properly maintained and there is plenty of space to work out. You offer a wide range of classes, at all times of the day, with excellent instructors.

Cape Ann YMCA is FANTASTIC. There are so many wonderful activities in a state of the art grand facility. Every visit, I feel the energy as if am back in college. As a new member of the YMCA I learned that there are 7 facilities in the network and I have been to 5. All offering first class equipment, knowledgeable staff clean and well maintained. I couldn't help visiting these facilities out of curiosity. And of course the stream room facilities are a welcomed option for the winter blues. So thank you so much for the opportunity and I highly recommend the YMCA to everyone I know. It has evolved to a great institution.

My one concern is the cleanliness… I have spoken to several people BUT
Family room showers/bathrooms …are NOT CLEAN…soap scum on walls …black scum on the shower floor… moldy shower curtains…
Someone should be evaluating the cleaning service to UP THEIR GAME !!

Great facilities, clean and safe
Spacious, many vehicles for exercise, very clean. One major issue I encountered was on bikes at 6PM. It was just as I was in the middle of my exercise pattern, a woman came in 2 bikes over and took a call from her lawyer. Very loudly talked about her grand-daughter and how she was in custody someone came and brought her to Florida without asking yada. I go to ymca to exercise not listen to that and I notice people 10feet away from her they were rolling their eyes. I think signage should be placed indicating its a place for exercise not sharing loud conversations on phones or in general. It is 1st time I encountered this within several visits

I love the Cape Ann YMCA. My only challenge is the tight room in the Yoga studio. Because we are just over a pandemic, I hoping the Y can find a larger room. I also get frustrated when people enter the studio 20 minutes after class starts.
