While the pool in Beverly is closed, I've been coming to the Gloucester Y a couple of days a week and have enjoyed the experience. The facility is beautiful and well maintained. The staff and other members are very friendly and welcoming.
The YMCA has a very clean locker room and the pool is clean and warm. The steam room is also excellent

It’s not too big, has easy parking and the facilty is bright and clean.

My wife and I use the weight room. The facility is first class, it has everything I can imagine using plus a bunch. I don't use a trainer, but those I see appear to be very professional with their clients and in general the staff is very friendly. I am also impressed with how comprehensive the facility is to serve a variety of needs within the community. A special place. We love it.

I met with Jeanne and she was very welcoming. She gave me a tour of the facility and answered all of my questions. I really enjoyed chatting with her while she got me enrolled. After leaving, I felt like I had all the tools that I needed to get started on the path of a healthier me! Jeanne made me very comfortable and made joining a little less overwhelming. After being hospitalized the week prior, my whole routine changed so having Jeanne help me get through the process of joining was a blessing. I am telling everyone how wonderful the Y is and I am encouraging them to join!

I am using the Gloucester Y pool now and will probably return to the Beverly Y pool after renovations, depending on where I can access a lane most easily. Both are very nice.
