Clean location with good variety of workout equipment & friendly staff

Excellent facilities
Your facility is nice & big. Exercise equipment has plenty of room between them. You also have multiples of the same equipment so no waiting. The pool area was nice & warm.
While Bev Y locker rooms are closed, I am thankful I've got another Y to swim at.
The place is clean and well laid out (it's easier when there's a clean slate and not trying to fit 10 pounds into a 5 pound sack). My only gripe is that the swimming suit spinner is busted.

the building space feels nice and appears very clean.

Well kept equipment & facilities for a reasonable price makes the Cape Ann YMCA a great value and community asset.
It’s always clean and theres tons of stuff to do. I’ve recommended that my friends with children sign up to they can bring their kids in for the splash pad, bounce house etc.
The parking lot could use some temporary speed bumps to put down for the spring/summer/fall. People drive too fast through the lot.

I love the Y the fit for life class is the best! I never exercised like I do now.
There are new scheduled activities every day and every week for the kids, with new healthy snacks every day. I love that my son has a structured routine that is set up with indoor and outdoor playtime with sports and crafts. He is always coming home feeling so proud of what he’s accomplished at craft time (homemade costumes, clay, and homemade rockets etc.) The communication this year has been excellent with new monthly and weekly newsletters with the best pictures. My son always looks forward to his YMCA after school days!
New clean premises, delightful staff. The bad news is the women's locker room design - it is a cramped maze. Also lacking when I last looked were benches for using free weights and staff in the weight area to help. Otherwise great.
