PB open play times are great for retired members. Maybe offer an intro PB class once a month or quarter for new members.

As a new member, I have been overwhelmed by the helpfulness and friendliness of staff and patrons alike. I am starting to get older and face new physical challenges. The community at the Y makes me realize that I am not alone. Thank you!
Caring staff. Wide range of programs.

Great facility, friendly staff and plenty of space to workout or swim.
Great people!
Great staff!
Great classes!
I love the Y and what the staff do. It's my settle down space after work but also a place to say hi to my neighbors and the staff. I appreciate all the social activities (races, etc) and services (camp, after care, providing a safe place for kids to hang out) that the Y provides. The staff are friendly and caring. Honestly, it's really what I need after a day of sitting in front of a screen and multi-tasking. Everyone should have a safe place where they can tune out and tune up their bodies for a half hour or more every day.
I HAVE BEEN A MEMBER OF THE Y FOR ABOUT 25 YEARS AN I HAVE NOTHING BUT GREAT THINGS TO SAY ABOUT IT ; SUCH AS THE PERSONAL TRAINERS AND THE FACILITIES THAT ARE AVAILABLE TO THE MEMBERS BY THEMSELVES ARE FANTASTIC ALSO I HAVE RECOMMENDED 3 MEMBERS OVER MY TIME AT THE Y TO JOIN.
I love the water aerobics classes. Your women's showers and changing rooms are top notch.
We really enjoy all of the programs that you offer: group exercise classes, kid's club, open gymnastics, etc. We also appreciate the flexibility our membership offers as we're able to access multiple Y locations on the North Shore.
However, I would like to suggest that you look into offering earlier kid's club hours in the afternoon. I'm sure it's difficult to get workers, but opening kid's club at 3:30 (or so) would make signing an older child up for one of your gymnastics or swim classes more attractive. The fact that Kid's Club currently doesn't open until 4:15 makes me less interested in signing my oldest child up for a gymnastics class earlier than that as I wouldn't have anything for the younger kids to do during that time.
I have been to many Y's in my life and I find the Beverly Y the ultimate experience for exercise and community.
The staff members are great. Always helpful and with a smile. You can't demand that behavior from people.
Everything is there that is needed to stay in shape and be in contact with friends and neighbors.
Someone has found the method to create this experience. Congrats to whoever is responsible. Pleas note, I can be cynical too. But there is nothing to complain about.

It is clean, friendly, with lots of equipment and activities for all age groups.

good facility. clean, lots of equipment, some very, very new.
Music is not too loud. (I think you could dump music altogether. The vast majority of people are wearing buds and listening to their own.)
locker room separate from showers. Changing rooms available.
Great pool.
