I took my first Strength Train Together with Alex today and it was stellar. The workout was topnotch and the pace was ideal, allowing time to make the necessary transitions and understand the valuable instruction.

I love all the kids programs especially Club Mid with Miss Claudia and Friday Night Fun. Kids bootcamp with Alex is so much fun for the kids.

The North Beverly YMCA is great because the staff is very friendly and helpful, the equipment is exactly what I want and modern and kept up and running, the place is clean, and it draws a very nice clientele. I’ve made a few friends there.

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

The Y community is inclusive and friendly. Staff members are kind. I become re-energized and encouraged in my each visit. I am especially grateful for those who work until late evening to keep Y open. Their late evening work are quite helpful for me to be able to use Y even for 40-45 minutes after a long day of work. Thank you.

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

The Beverly Y is my oasis. It has great classes - especially the water classes with Scott. It also houses Bay State Physical Therapy - so convenient when I need that service. The facilities, especially the pool, are spacious and clean. The staff is warm and welcoming. And the people who come to the Y have become my friends. It's my happy place.
