Love the Beverly ymca!
Variety of classes
A good variety of classes
it's clean, cheerful & welcoming
The Y adds so much to my quality of life. The exercise I get in the Group Exercise classes is probably the most important factor contributing to the good mental health I enjoy.
I think Diane at the desk must know everybody’s name she always reach me with a warm smile and Hulu I love the facilities lifeguards in the pool do a great job. Feel very lucky to be a member of this. Why merry Christmas to all
The coaches and staff work so hard to maintain a safe and fun learning environment. My daughter loves it!
It’s amazing!
A smiling, cheerful Diane at 500am in the morning? How does she pull that off? Plus the free Coffee from 5am-8am….a nice reward at the end of the workout.
The Beverly Ymca is a great facility offering a lot of good programs, like Pickleball , workout, yoga, etc. Its a great positive environment.
Lifeguards are very attentive. The pool is clean, but the water is a little on the cold side.
It is a wonderful place
Very good and excellent stuffs
The Bevery Y an expansive, clean and fully equipped facility who's friendly & engaging staff take pride in their work and reflect a member-centered demeanor.
Great facility to work out
Staff are GREAT!!!!
The new Beverly equipment is awesome.
Chris (Christian?) does a great job of keeping the roving packs of teenagers from congregating too much and also I've noticed he enforces the shoes policy. Other staff should take notes from him (still see so many kids in socks & sandals/crocs which is frankly dangerous to themselves and counterproductive to their lifts). But for all the internet memes about how poorly behaved teen boys are in the gym lately, I feel like we actually -don't- have a problem for the most part, and that speaks for the positive gym culture and our great staff encouraging good behavior and etiquette. People largely clean up after themselves.
Constructive feedback I guess:
- The sauna being out of commission for months at a time is why I have to say 9 instead of 10 this time around. There's gotta be some better long-term solution.
- Some of the Covid-era signs feel a bit dystopian at this point, ie. the "social distancing" and "don't touch your face!" sign that (I think?) is still up
Very clean and offers a lot for families
It has great programs and staff. It is neat and clean and has everything people need for exercise.
Professional equipment and staff
It has everything you could need! It is a wonderful, clean facility with friendly staff, and there is something for nearly everyone when it comes to fitness needs - sports, classes, and plenty of equipment.
Great value!
I love this Y. The pool schedule is more than fair. It's clean and beautiful. Love it here.
The staff is outstanding!
Because it offers fitness opportunities for every member of the family !!
Between the pool, pickleball, fitness classes - no excuse to not exercise - even in lousy N.E
Weather !!
great staff, mostly.
We love the Y! Would love more kids club hours on the weekends at Ipswich!
good facility. clean, lots of equipment, some very, very new.
Music is not too loud. (I think you could dump music altogether. The vast majority of people are wearing buds and listening to their own.)
locker room separate from showers. Changing rooms available.
Great pool.
Close to Rt 128.
The variety of classes and activities for members.
Clean Pool. Number of lap lanes and times are a good offering.
PB open play times are great for retired members. Maybe offer an intro PB class once a month or quarter for new members.
Locker rooms very clean.
The fee structure is reasonable for fixed income retired members. Reasonable membership fee structure for all.
Because I love the water aerobics

Because you’re awesome
