I love the workout equipment and variety of equipment available. I like the family swim times and that on weekends there's more swim times. I just wish there was more for my daughter, who is 7, to do when we go. She likes to climb the rock wall & and swim but if we miss swimming, she can't do too much while the rest of us workout. It's the only reason we haven't come in more. Can't wait for dodgeball to start again & we are hoping to sign our son up for the Jr. Cavs basketball as well! We still love the YMCA so much & we are glad we joined!
The convenience

I love the swimming pool and lessons offered. I only wish you offered more of a variety in the evenings like the current daytime programs in Lakewood. You need more personable instructors in the evening that treat everyone with respect and show people that he/she wants to be there. The evening classes are not the same quality or people. What happened to Leslie. She's a great instructor!
I have enjoyed the YMCA/YWCA since I was a child. Now my Grandchildren can.
Variety, good machines, yoga classes, pickle ball, spin classes, great for silver sneakers members.
The equipment is very modern and useful. COVID precautions are very good. The staff regularly cleans equipment, and I like that masks are required at all times, even during exercise.
Right now I am just using the pool. I very much appreciate the efforts you have made to keep me safe.
Hadn’t been to the Lakewood, OH YMCA in over a year due to a long recovery from extensive foot surgery and cautiousness about the virus. I did the Sunday 10:15 sculpt class with Mary. I was warmly greeted and welcomed by the young lady at the front desk. I felt the Y had implemented well thought through safety procedures. The class was terrific.Mary really cares about her class participants and provides clear instruction and various options on ways to perform the exercises to accommodate all levels of needs in her class. Thanks to all. Great job !
I love the fact that actually have had classes available during the virus. It is especially nice to see and now that you can take a water class and be able to use the locker room and shower to change and take a shower.,
Pickle ball
I most enjoy the fact that there is a wide range of machines and activities so I can mix up my routine. As I am recently retired, I am looking forward to joining some daytime classes when COVID is finally contained.

Everything is great except for the website. I really wish there was a description of each class as well.

Group exercise classes
Love the daytime, evening and weekend water exercise and lap swimming. Great way to improve your fitness. Staff polite and friendly. Facilities very clean.

All of the classes. That you can go any night after work and catch a class.
I'm just a fitness center user so the new equipment is nice though I miss the Precor stretch machine. When my kids were younger 15 years ago I was in Adventure Guides with the summer and winter weekends at camps. They are grown now. I may use the massage therapy services on the first floor.
