The variety of exercise equipment and machines is great, far more extensive than any other gym I've joined. I enjoy that there is a well maintained pool for members to use whenever they like. The additional sauna and hot tub are great perks as well. Plus there are classes outside the YMCA that we can take which are really neat (like sunset yoga in the local park)
I like the group exercise activities; I've been consistent for over a year now after sitting on my membership for several years. Having a good instructor is very important, and Mary is very welcoming.

Our son very much enjoyed attending the YMCA camp. The Lakewood location was very convenient for us. The only thing we wish that the camp had offered was a paid lunch plan option.
Staff did a great job keeping the kids engaged, moving and having fun.

U have programs for the senior citizen.
The community members that work for the facility are great and the programs that are offered for smaller kids is amazing
It's a very neat facility. Otherwise, I was permitted to enter the hot tub, which had an unusual water color. Afterwards, others were told not to enter it because of the chlorine challenge. I thought, "why wasn't I informed the same when I first entered it."
