Melanie's Tuesday 9:00 am class and Jay's Wednesday 9:00 am class have already made me stronger, after coming back from a yearlong hiatus because of the Chinese-developed Covid disease. Prior to that, a large group of regulars also took cycling directly before or after Jay's and Melanie's classes in this time frame, like one at 9 and one at 10. Many of us regulars would really like to see cycling offered again in conjunction with the core/strengthening classes. The two back-to-back present a complete workout. The Thursday 9:00 am class is essentially a modified yoga class, which really doesn't challenge participants the way Jay and Melanie do on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 9:00 am but is good for stretching and flexibility.
I love the Y! The gentleman at the check-in desk is my Mr. Sunshine, coaxing a smile from me, and always pleasant and helpful.
What better place to go in Geauga County for all kinds of exercise. I love the water exercises.
I really like the AOA classes. The fact they are included in my membership, the mid morning times they start, and the results I am getting in my flex-ability are impressive.

The clean environment
Exceeded expectations on in-water programs and yoga. All instructors bring high engery and passion to the class they are leading/teaching. The exercise room has all the latest equipment with plenty to go around. The Y did an exceptional job during COVID with the policies and procedures. It is noteworthy that people from the an early age to well into their eighties can find so much to do at the YMCA Chardon.
The staff is friendly and helpful. It is always clean.

Variety to choose from and the instructors are friendly
Accessible, reasonably priced, lots of variety, clean facilities.
We enjoy starting out using the pool in order to build cardiovascular so we can move forward to the fitness center.
We also look forward to partaking in the tours that are offered.
For now, I only use the swim exercises. I love it. I have gotten so much from it.
I appreciate all the options and choices, from family activities to pool times for seniors.
I am happy to have returned to the Geauga YMCA
