What did you like about your Santikos experience?

I like being able to bowl on well kept lanes. Santikos lanes are great and available for when I don’t feel like going down to new braunfels to a real bowling alley (where there is league bowling). Only downside is santikos is much more expensive ($34/hr vs @$10 per game in New braunfels for league bowlers). I also don’t like how I can go grab a pitcher at my usual bowling center and santikos has this crazy policy of needing to see every drivers license for every beer I get. It’s a bit over the top and whether it’s required by law or not nowhere else cards you as much or as strictly as santikos. And me and my friends are all obviously 40-50 years of age. It’s a good bowling alley but it’s like it almost tries not to be. Most of my issues are somewhat minor. Lane service is excellent as long as you go to the desk and ask.

What did you like about your Santikos experience?

I love the self serve system and reserved seating. Gone are the days waiting in line to show the person your theater ticket all the time etc. Also, getting a popcorn refill with the self serve machine makes it quick in the middle of a movie versus before where you had to wait for an employee to be free to do it for you. Overall the system at Santikos is why my family goes there as our first choice when we watch movies. Also, the rewards point system is an added bonus because we always get something free that's relevant (i.e. drink or candy etc.), makes it worthwhile to build up points.
